Do not nominate a new player.

Vote Ayton

Shorter than some deals like Wiggins and Grant, but unpopular style of player.

Vote: Ayton

I just don't see him getting back to the role he had in the 2021 season where he was all bought-in defensively and played a simple game. In fact, even if he gets back to that role, he isn't worth his salary. I'd rather have Mitchell Robinson [when healthy], Goga Botazde or Myles Turner than Ayton, and I don't consider any of these players on exceptional contracts [they are fine, positive value].

So yeah, just completely overpaid at a position where MLE money gets you a starter [or at least 20 Million AAV].

Nominate: Karl-Anthony Towns

Ayton then Collins

Ball being injured is not hurting anyone other than cap space.

I can’t in good conscience vote Lonzo; yeah he can’t play, but it’s only through next year.

Vote: Collins

You could argue having Ball is better than Bagley when you consider the disabled player exception and real savings. Then again there is some risk that he actually plays and is not productive but enough to avoid getting the insurance.

Vote: Wiggins

Not only is he playing badly now but he has no track record of playing well outside of the Warriors - if they can't get good play out of him anymore there isn't great reason to hope anyone else can. Ayton is a close second but I can easily see teams talking themselves into giving him one more change of scenery and being willing to take him on.

Sorry guys, I made a mistake in the previous thread and Draymond was the actual winner for #4. Please re-do your votes if it changes due to LaVine's availability or Draymond's lack of it, if you don't for the people that voted LaVine last thread I'll carry that vote over.
