Miami-Washington-Orlando

Miami in: Kyle Kuzma
Miami out: Tyler Herro

Washington in: Markelle Fultz, Gary Harris, 2024 Orlando FRP and 2025 Denver FRP
Washington out: Kyle Kuzma

Orlando in: Tyler Herro

Why for Miami: Offensively, Miami is one of the worst teams in the league. Kuzma would be a great fit next to Bam on the offensive end. Also, Rozier and Herro are not compatible. Trading Herro would also benefit Jaquez.

Why for Washington: I'd like to send Herro directly to DC, but that would be pointless with Poole. Even though I know FRP's aren't worth much, I don't see any other team offering two FRP's for Kuzma.

Why for Orlando: For 2 not very valuable FRP's you get a young SG that suits your timeline.

Herro isn't worth two first round picks in my opinion.

Picks are mediocre. The first one is in a very bad class, the other one is definitely at +23

In fact, Herro was having a great season until he got injured.

Kuza is not worth 2 FRPs and expiring. The guy is the personification of empty stats does not contribute to winning

I'm with you. I don't see him as a good fit in Miami. And as much as I think Herro works for Orlando they're not giving up two firsts for him, either.

i do not think magic as interested in hero as people think..and do not see them giving 2 first and all that cap space up for future move

is it you mean like grizz pick should have been for sure 23+ ?
but he gets hurt almost every yr right?
its really not a value contract right?
not taking back any bad money right?

Makes more sense without the 2024 Orlando pick. I think Herro would be a great fit in Orlando

Solid realistic value for ORL...what does ORL have to send WAS to get Gafford too?

(Weltman doesn't go shopping...it's like when your Mom has the credit card out in the toy store...)

Orlando has a young SG in Suggs. we need a PG

Grizz? lol Nuggets not Grizz. If Jokic doesn't get injured, it seems certain that they will finish in the top 5 in the West. So it would be a big surprise if the pick is lower than the 20th place.

Do you think you'll find someone better than Herro in these two picks?

It's not a bad salary for a young SG who can score 20-23 points and is only 23 years old. Such money is well balanced with the new CBA agreement.

I meant he's not worth 2 FRPS plus expiring contracts. His new deal is not a positive

just saying anything can happen i am sure you would have said last yr grizz pick would be 23+ at this time now it is pick 7 and looks like lock to be lottery
dont care if cant get better player with the 2 picks would add 2 more picks for the right 2-way player
hero contract would be most a yr any magic player has ever been paid..its not great
whats the LEAST amount of games he has missed 20% of the season? not great?

I think Kuzma should have more value than Herro? He’s only 28 and on a declining contract versus 24 on a bigger contract.

I think if Herro is worth two firsts, the Orlando pick needs to be at least lottery protected for a couple years.

This is ridiculous. You can't live with assumptions.

He fits the Magic roster very well in terms of age and attributes. Herro could bring more than a few 2-way players to the Magic.

but that is what your statement was? assumption? can magic put top 23 protected? if not does not convey ?
magic are a couple losses from lottery pick one injury or time for hero to fit or him getting hurt and magic pick alone would be overpay

I would disagree. I think they're about even. Expiring deals, maybe a useful role player, and a real, but not great, first round pick. Don't see anyone giving up more. They're useful players but not worth a haul.

Agreed...this is the time for ORL to move some of the uncertainty to another team's ledger and get a sure thing. I'm MUCH MORE than willing to bet that one of those picks doesn't turn into the next Michael Jordan. The clock is ticking- get what you need in proven, finished form to complement Paolo & Franz...ORL "owned" the draft last year with #6 & #11...no regrets, they may work out but the last thing ORL needs is more question marks and barely voting age children to wait on.

Just saying. Just saying...try thinking it through before you slam doors reflexively.
