Knicks - Kuzma, Tyus Jones
Wizards - Fournier, Mitchell Robinson, Grimes, a top 6 protected first rounder in 2026 and a 2nd rounder.
Wizards get a good first, a 2nd and Robinson for Kuzma, and then Grimes for Tyus seems about right. Mitchell Robinson is still young and the Wiz can ease him back next year as they tank, and then move Gafford at the next deadline and try to sneak another late first in (maybe sending a 2nd back), or in the summer if Robinson can start next season.
Knicks get a proper 8 man rotation for the playoffs with no real holes and hope their bench is enough to get them over the top one of the next few years, since the oldest dudes in this rotation are Randle at 29, Kuzma and Hart at 28, that should be 2-3 years of peak play before any kind of age decline sets in. Also might open up a potential Randle move down the line if the right guy becomes available as you now have Kuzma as a 4, but for now, you have the best bench in the East playoffs now that Thibs has mostly gotten through to Achiuwa in a way the Raptors coaches/style didn't. Maybe he - and a reduced role as a key bench guy - can do the same for Kuzma. The Knicks don't have the stars to win 4 rounds (I love Brunson but PGs have it tough in the late rounds as we've seen over and over with guys like CP3 and Stockton never winning it), but it's conceivable this team could sneak one.

Absolutely not. Why are we trading our starting center, Grimes, a future 1st and a second for 2 guys who will be coming off the bench.
Why rely on nuance, facts and logic when you can bludgeon the other side with mindless repetition of "Duuur McDaniel's has potential
and still be treated as if you were reasonable.
