Philly trade: Morris, Covington, 2024 pick swap (addendum - LP, becomes 2nds if dont convey) with OKC/LAC 1st
Toronto trade: Brown
Why for Philly: duck tax and upgrade guard/wing rotation for playoffs
Why for Toronto: gamble on embiid being out an extended period means moving up into early twenties

Moving from 29 to 22, or even to 20 or so, isn't quite enough for the Raptors to do this. I'd think the Philly 2026 pick that is the worst of the OKC/HOU/LAC firsts would have to be in there, or a swap with one of the Clippers unprotected picks.
Where's the D?

The Sixers aren’t doing it eith. The Sixers have done a ton of work in order to get a lot of cap space. There not trading anything for Brown who has 23 mil for next year. I know it’s not guaranteed but if your planning on cutting him why would anyone trade for him?

I don't think anyone is giving up a 1st for Brown.
If I'm the Raptors I'd prefer moving up in the draft to the handful of 2nds they'll likely get offered.
On the Sixers end, it would depend on how long Embiid is expected to be out (and how far they expect to drop in the standings because of that).
I think it's a pretty interesting deal overall.

Adding a guy that would likely be in the closing lineup for a playoff run and opening up some further optionality in the summer if the cap space plan seems like it's going to be a bust (whether that be simply keeping him or using that 23M salary as expiring matching salary in a large deal).
Whether that's worth the price... Don't know.
Being "poster that automatically shoots down any deal involving their team" isn't very fun on the fake trade board.

I’ve proposed this with the ‘26 pick Philly has. I think that makes a lot more sense as Philly’s pick could be a lottery pick

Yeah this would need lottery protection after Joel’s injury.

If Toronto does it with lottery protection, Philly should do it as is.
Rare, but I think it should convert into 2nds that project to be good not just random seconds..
