BKN in: Russell, Hachimura, Vincent, JHS, '29 LAL 1st (top-4 protected).
BKN out: Dinwiddie, Finney-Smith, O'Neale.
Russell/Vincent
Bridges/Thomas
Simmons/Walker
Johnson/Clowney
Claxton/Sharpe
Why? Gather more assets for players that don't fit their timeline, meanwhile stock asstets to put for a star (MItchell?) to pair with their core.
LAL in: Dinwiddie, Finney-Smith, O'Neale.
LAL Out: Russell, Hachimura, Vincent, JHS, '29 LAL 1st (top-4 protected)
James/Dinwiddie
Reaves/Reddish
Finney-Smith/Prince
Vanderbilt/O'Neale
Davis/Wood

I have that as too much unwanted future money for Brooklyn to get so little return for DFS/O'Neale. But I guess if Brooklyn likes Rui then maybe?

I like this for Brooklyn except for Gabe Vincent. He would have to be taken out.
Hachimura can be moved or worked around if they want max space in 2025.
It probably gets them too close to the tax next season for them to consider it though.
Can it be simplified?

There would no protections on this pick if this would ever even be considered and you know that.

Value is fair, but the Nets want to preserve cap space for 2025. Rui and Vincent will both be expiring contracts that summer, but it's unclear if/when Vincent will be able to return from his injury. He wasn't good before the injury outside of a good playoff run.

While I am not a Reaves fan, the trade has to include him. If LA is desperate enough to want to win with LBJ, they gave to pony up more.
Nets trade as suggested, Lakers send Hachimura, Russell, Reaves.
Nets then look much better- Russell, Reaves, Bridges, Hach, Claxton.

Didn't people say this last year about the Lakers trying to trade Russ and Utah ended up receiving a top 4 protected pick?
