The Magic need a PG, and there are rumors they're interested in CP3. What do you think is the package the Magic should offer?

Think one of the Magic bigs have to be involved in some form (Isaac, WCJ, maybe Goga). Could see Moody being on the table on GS end. Not sure of the deal, but seems two teams that have logic as trade partners

Ive seen mention of Isaac being in the trade, but i dont expect the FO doing that. Isaac has been really good lately and the Magic and their fans have waited a long time for him to recover. Id hate to include WCJ as i think he has more value. My hope is that if the Magic trade for CP3, it would be for Goga, Harris, Fultz, a 2nd round pick. Do you think that would be fair for the Warriors?

Not familiar with Goga’s game, but I could see it if Moody isn’t included (would need Isaac or WCJ otherwise). Not sure GS can do a 3 for 1 deal though

I would say yes to Orl trading Isaac and Harris to the Warriors for CP3. Straight up, no picks.

Needs a third team in my opinion. Lot of options, but needs one.

One of the appeals of the CP3 acquisition is the flexibility his contract gives the front office. His 30m can come off the books in the off season, or they pick it up so that they can use it in a trade for a player they want.

Harris and Fultz are expirings so they come off the books in the summer. All in all, your proposed trade just gives the Warriors a possible half season of Goga and a second round pick. They have no use for that second round pick.

Isaac gives the Warriors a chance to take a look at him for half a season before maybe just shipping him out as part of a trade in the off season. Ingles team option can come off the books or picked up to be used in a trade.

But obviously, this is all dependent on how much Orlando actually wants CP3.

Yeah my thought was Goga would be enough to tempt the Warriors to trade him, he's a solid big to have in the rotation. Can block shots and rebound. Was able to start when WCJ got injured and performed well, but if he's not enough...There are a lot of other options for the Magic to look at, and i hope the Magic pass on CP3.

Just spoke to a few Orlando fans on the other board. They're not willing to trade either Isaac or WCJ. In other words, there's no trades to be made with them.

It’s a hard sell for the contract reason that Killmongrel stated and the option to roll over CP3s contract a year as a big expiring as opposed to losing that salary piece. Would depend on the Dubs FO plans. Would be a no brainer with Isaac or WCJ imo, with just Goga and two guys in Harris and Fultz who GS has guys (Podz, Moody) that likely play over them, it’s a much harder sell

cant see Orlando doing this for any of those players, especially as Paul is still hurt. when is he due back? no reason for a rental for a player that still would likely get injured again before the playoffs.
