GS ATL ORL

Post#1 » by fluffhead » Mon Feb 5, 2024 6:48 pm

Gs out: cp3 podz moody ‘26 1st ‘26 atl 2nd
In: Murray wcj
Get a huge upgrade now

Atl out: Murray
In: moody fultz ‘26 gs1st ‘26 2nd returned
End the Murray saga. Get moody who has played well when given time and who would fit well next to Trey. A 26 1st which could be valuable and their 2nd returned

Orl out: wcj fultz
In: cp3 podz
Rumored to be interested in Paul. Here they get him and their possible pg of the future. Podz only 21 and has played very well

Why is Orlando really in this trade? If Atlanta trades Murray I am sure they would demand that the most valuable asset in Podz land in Atlanta. Maybe Atlanta rather spin off Podz for another asset due to fit but that would be their option.

I don't think WCJ can come close to pulling Podz.

GS needs another big and a number two level scorer, so this does fit both needs. Whether or not GS would come off Podz for it is debatable. Would probably be more inclined to add another first rounder somewhere.

It’s an interesting group of trade partners. I think Moody is just the right guy next to Trey.

Problem is both Orlando and GS could use DJM. The team that don’t get him is probably going to feel slighted

Let me ask you this. If you cut out Atlanta here would accept the rest of the trade: CP3/Podz for WCJ/Fultz. Does that part of the trade work?

Not really. Fultz doesn’t move me much and I’d rather see Podz continue to grow and search for a big other than WCJ with the CP3 contract/Moody/picks offer

No. Podz essentially is untouchable unless bringing in a true difference maker which wcj/fultz aren’t.

Put it this way, would you trade Suggs or black for cp3?
Most 4th Quarter Points in Final since 1991
1995 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5
2000 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5 (61.1% TS)
2015 Stephen Curry 10.8 (75.1% TS)
1997 Michael Jordan 10.7 (55.1% TS)
1998 Michael Jordan 10.6 (50.6% TS)
2011 Dirk Nowitzki 10.3 (68.0% TS)

Yeah I think if there’s anything here it’s cp3+2nds and maybeeeee moody for WCJ+ fultz or Harris.

Not sure how badly ORL wants CP3 but I think that is what GSW would consider.

Can't see the Warriors doing this.

Orlando seem to be playing fascilitator here.
