Why for Philly: Get some players to help out while Embiid is out

Why for Utah: Get some value for our vets

Why is Philly trading better players and including a 1st just to ruin their path to cap space next season. This make very little sense.

With Embiid out I'm not sure what direction Philly is planning to go in and they might not know that until after his surgery.

If I'm Philly I'd rather clear salary than take on Collins and Clarkson beyond this season (plus any contract extension they might give to Olynyk). On top of that give up picks? That's not something I'd do, but that's just my two cents.

Harris > Collins
Melton >= Clarkson (this ones debatable though)
26 1st > Olynyk
