Sacramento: Tyus Jones and Kuzma
Orlando: Kevin Huerter, 2025 2nd round (kings)
Washington: Harris, Lyles, Vezenkov, Mitchell, Daurte, 2025 1st (from Orlando via Denver) and 2026 1st from Sacramento

Why for Sacramento: Get Kuzma who they’ve been targeting for years as well as pg help to move monk off ball in the second unit

Why for Orlando: Give up a late first from Denver for a three point specialist on a decent contract they lack shooting

Why for Washington: Get salary relief as well as two first round picks. Also get two you players they can try to develop

I think Kings are better off trading Barnes than depth, and the 1st should be protected.

Kings could have bid on Kuzma if they were interested in him.

I think it's possible the Kings were/are interested in Kuzma. We don't exactly know what happened last summer.

With that said, I pass on this. Kuzma is only worth a 1st to me if we're not giving up much of value, and I think we are here. Jones is a really nice player, but IMO not really what we need.

I just remember a bunch of national media saying they were really interested this summer. And a couple years ago.

That noise always goes on and 95% of it is meaningless click bait or agents trying to drive up price.

Personally I do not want Kuzma anywhere NEAR the Kings. He has shown exactly who and what he is here with WAS and it’s nothing that fits us. Selfish chucker with a legend in his own mind mentality. No thanks.

And Jones for cheap might be interesting (it’s been discussed before - Davion/Duarte and a couple seconds - not POR - for Jones or Schoeder would be ideal for the Kings) but he’s not worth a first or any real high end prospects.

That was my thought too. Huerter isn't on a bad contract, but I also wouldn't give up a first for him if I was another team, even if it was a late one.

I love Tyus Jones in a vacuum, but I don’t love the idea of having to play 3 small guards (Fox, Monk, & Jones) the bulk of the minutes at PG and SG.

I think for that, ORL could expect Huerter AND Tyus Jones

Don't like this.

Reality is that there isn't a serious upgrade for Barnes on the market right now. We need to be patient. Kuzma isnt the guy, and Tyus will be gone in 3 months. End of the day this is turning Huerter + Sasha + Lyles + 1st into Kuzma. Bad asset management and kills our depth.

The deal the Kings should be looking at is turning Duarte + Mitchell + 2nds into another depth piece. Give ATL our 2024 pick this summer and go into next year debt free. Then look at turning Barnes + picks into a real difference maker.
