I like this thread. May also be helpful to know who is most likely to be traded. IMO it is:
Bruce Brown
Tyus Jones
Delon Wright (maybe)
Lowry (buyout)
May even add Dejounte Murray.
If Murray and Brown are the 2 biggest names, this would be a lackluster trade deadline. This is how we’re setting up I think, leading up for a big draft day action over 2 days.

Detroit owner Tom Gores said Joe Harris would be a Pistons for life a couple of months ago, now we are selling him?
As far as we know, Detroit are buyers, not sellers. The FO is inept, so they might end up not acquiring anyone, but they have no intention of making the team worse (they want to develop the 4 young players they call the core 4 which is laughable imo), therefore, they are not selling Morris. He could be traded, just like Bojan and Burks but for something Detroit actually want.
The reports are, they want Tobias Harris, Miles Bridges, OG Anunoby, Pascal Siakam, OG and Pascal are no longer available.
DeJounte Murray asking price was both Ivey and Ausar, so while Detroit is interested, I don't think he is a possibility (I don't think Tobias is a possibility either fwiw)
Wiseman and Hayes sure, they are out of rotation and they need to earn their next contract, they may end up being waived.

Of that whole list there might be one player worth a first and expirings. But I know these fanbases feel differently so I won't be making any Mavs offers here because they will all be rejected like Claxton was rejecting Luka tonight.

Portland should be a seller: Likely not all of them but one or two would be nice. Might change a bit with Sharpe out for season with an upcoming surgery
Brogdon
Grant
Thybulle
Ayton

Knicks trade: Evan Fournier and their 2024 pick
Hornets trade: PJ Washington
Why for the Knicks: I like Washington's versatility and ability to stretch the floor even if he's not shooting as well this year.
Why for the Hornets: While there is some talk about this draft not being a strong one the Hornets are one of those teams without a pick. Why not take a flier on finding a diamond in the rough.
I don't know much about the CBA but I hope we can we can steal Lowry away with one of our decent sized TPEs if he is bought out in order to solve our playmaking problems behind Brunson.

The Hornets would have only lost their first round pick if they made the playoffs, so I think we can safely say they will have a pick this year.

Yup you're right. Offer still stands but its significantly less attractive knowing the Hornets already have a top lotto pick.

I don't feel like it's out of line to ask for the better of NY/DAL 1st (lottery protected though i doubt either team misses the playoffs)

Here are a few I like:
Phoenix: Little
Chicago: Carter
Suns get a PG for the team & Bulls get a decent wing.
Toronto: McDaniels
Portland: Fake 2nd (take into TPE)
Blazers take a swing at McDaniels & Raptors get off his 2nd year of his contract.
Detroit: Morris
Minnesota: Milton + Brown
Wolves shore up their guard position. Pistons see if Brown can be a good piece longer term

Did he really say Harris will be a Piston for life? That’s a preposterous statement for a 30 year old on an expiring deal who’s played 15 games total with the team for 10.5 minutes per lol

Kispert to Boston for 24 FRP, taken into the Grant TPE. Could send one of Lamar Stevens, Svi, or Delano Banton back.
If that FRP is an overpay, could be a couple decent 2nds.

DFS and Dinwiddie are on the block, though if the offers for DFS are light, the Nets probably wait until the offseason, when more 1sts become tradeable.
I think Lonnie Walker and Dennis Smith Jr could get moved for 2nds, just because they're simple, low cost adds for contenders.

Olynyk to Boston for Pritchard, Kornet, Svi, Banton, Stevens.
Dunn and Fontecchio into the Grant TPE
Boston sends FRPs 2024 and 2026 or some good seconds instead of one of the FRPs.
For Boston this really boosts the Bench and adds some shooting. For Utah Pritchard and Kornet are rotation players, Svi and Stevens are minimum Salary fillers, Banton has some upside. The picks are likely late firsts.

Yes, we're **** because our owner is clueless and an imbecile

Much depends on what the sellers are aiming to do.
If WASH simply wants to clear salary then they could take an expiring Demar DeRozan for Kuzma. If they want picks, the Bulls are out of stock so there would have to be a contender who wants DeRozan to slide a draft pick plus some players to WASH.
If the Bulls could move either Vucevic or Drummod I wouldn't mind having Wiseman take the backup role and maybe he gets it going but the Bulls really don't have the matching money for a tryout. The Lavine injury probably ended any larger deals here
If CHA doesn't think they can or want to resign Miles Bridges he would look good in a Bulls uniform. Washington always plays well against the Bulls he would fit in the same as Bridges. Can't really identify which way CHA wants to go, or what their timetable is, they have Ball's big contract kicking in while Hayward is expiring, Miller and Williams in place, they have a top pick. Who would they like to add where?
