Celtics (and Jazz with Ainge) are the best FO in the league.

Man, that cheap? Dunno why other teams with FC needs didnt give that up (cough *Dallas* cough). Love this for Boston, Tillman is legit good defensive big and great depth piece.

This makes sense, thought Boston was a logical landing spot for awhile now. Nice that it is 2nds are further out. Opens a roster spot to give GG Jackson a contract. Not a homerun for Memphis but what was expected value wise. Tillman is a guy that can hold his on and give positive impact minutes even in the playoffs, even if Boston doesn't resign him I like this as a rental at this cost.

Solid all around. Boston gets some depth and Memphis gets assets for a rental.

That Dallas 2030 2nd is an interesting trade piece going forward.

He is an unrestricted free agent this summer.
In contrast the guy Detroit got is a restricted free agent.

The team control is important.

I didn't have Tillman worth more than this. A good get for Boston and more value for Memphis in a lost season. Seems win/win and reasonable value.
