Charlotte trades PJ Washington, Gordon Hayward, Frank N, 2025 2nd (31-55 rights)
Charlotte receives 2027 DAL 1st, Klay Thompson, Richaun Holmes

Hornets get picks for the future, and an all-time great shooter for the rest of the season to open things up for Miller, Melo, and company. Holmes would be the Hornets starter until Mark gets healthy, sad as that sounds

Golden State trades Klay Thompson
Golden State receives Josh Green, Gordon Hayward

Warriors get a different look on the wing with a decent 3&D in Green for the future, and a more versatile expiring for the present. But this about the cap savings. $7M in immediate savings is somewhere around $30-40M in luxury tax savings.

Dallas trades Josh Green, Richaun Holmes, 2027 1st
Dallas receives PJ Washington, Frank N, CHA 2025 2nd

Mavs are rumored to be after PJ Washington per Stein, Woj, and everyone else. This gives them a nice forward to stick between Lively and the star guards.

I just dont see PJ worth this. I dont think he's any more valuable than Josh Green and the most i'd give up if im Dallas is the Toronto 2nd for next year. Charlotte can squint and say thats a late 1st, but i wouldnt give up any more than that

If Dallas were willing to give up a 1st and green, pj would already be a Mav

This.

And this idea that dumping one year of Holmes is now worth a first just isn't dealing in any kind of reality. So if that's the justification for that here, just no.

GS does not need to be in it, although I like it as a GS fan. They are stealing value.

1st plus Holmes and Filler (Curry or Morris) for Washington seems more reasonable.
