Well it's that time again T & T broad, so let’s pull up a chair, put on some loose slacks and grub out.

Trading Quentin Grimes... munch munch munch
Trading R.J. Barrett... munch munch munch
Trading Immanuel Quickley... munch munch munch
Trading for Bojan Bogdanovic... munch munch munch

Springer getting positive value completely shocked me. I had Philly needing to pay a second to dump him, or at least cash.

Brogdon didnt get moved for LPFRP. Could still happen in the off-season. More likely to be multiple SRP if at all.

Best to eat crow while it’s still warm.

The value the Wizards got back for Gafford seems fair, but I didn't think they'd move him without an overpay. Excited to see him in Dallas. Not excited to see Holmes in Washington.

Not deadline-specific crow, but I insisted for a while that we wouldn't pay to salary dump Jordan Poole, and then we did.

I didn't plant this particular flag (I don't think anyone had the Hornets winning the deadline), but they clearly did, andif you include the Rozier trade, it's not particularly close.

Yeah turning Rozier, PJ, and Hayward into 2 lightly-protected firsts, a couple seconds, and some decent role players is a really nice haul.

I also think NY had a great deadline FWIW, since we're clearly in the upside-down.

I really thought we could get a second for Delon Wright . . . nada. I hope we cut him and give him a chance to play with a contender who needs a defensive minded reserve guard. We got less than I thought we would take for Gafford; maybe due to the Bagley pick up that made him more expendable. We kept Tyus where I had hopes, but not expectations, of a good deal. Overall, not an exciting trade deadline at all.

So not a full meal of crow, just some wings with cold sauce.

Poor value for Gafford, Knicks trading Grimes for Bogdonovic, Lakers not doing a darned thing. Can I at least get some franks red hot for my crow?

this for me. i was so used to inactivity by Hornets, I didnt think they would pull of something like this.

new owners making a difference.

This one got me. s a Warrior fan, I thought we'd need to give up way more than what Dallas did to get a young athletic guy like Gafford, I was wrong, eating my crow happily.

I genuinely had Bridges to the Lakers as money in the bank. I wonder if he will be re-signing now for the Hornets...

I didn't think that Olynyk would be moved because I thought Ainge's price would be set too high. Moving him with Agbaji for a first blindsided me. What sauce goes best with crow?

i wouldn't rule out a sign n trade, Klutch wanted him to stay in Charlotte for those bird rights.

Great point and sign me up as they did what they should.

Pretty hard to see that Portland didn't move anyone of Ayton, Grant, or Brogdon.

I really thought teams like MEM or PHIL with injured centers would see what Andre Drummond has done in limited minutes and figured he could hit the boards for 40 games for as cheap as he comes. All the blowhard talk about how the Lakers wanted Alex Caruso and how Demar DeRozan going home was a story, and nothing even close.

Oh I definitely need to get in on the Terry crow.

Unfortunately, I think I was still right and Miami did a terrible trade. So I might be having more crow if he comes through in a couple months..

I had PJ worth a first easily... But not a first 4 years out only top 2 protected. That still hurts.

This is more of a “I was wrong” thread since there weren’t many big deals to eat crow on, except for those roleplayers being traded cheaply..

I thought….

LAL would push in more.. OKC would trade for talent... Atlanta would flip Murray and get ready for a retool… Orlando would make a win now trade of some level.. Ainge would add or sell, bigger though... GS would do something.. Didn’t think Phoenix could add anything that matters.. Chicago would make a win now move or trade Demar.. LAC wouldn’t pay 50ish million dollars to have Tucker around.. Boston would trade their first.. Miami would fix their lineup..

I would’ve taken -110 on all but Atlanta and Boston.. Was real off on deadline.

Looks like we did give Grimes away for bench help. *sigh* Feels like a big mistake considering we didn't bring in a better two-way option than Quentin was for that spot in the closing lineup...but hopefully Hart or DiVincenzo can be hot enough for it to work in the playoffs...

PJ and Rozier got more than I expected, eating crow on that.
Thought Hawks would move Murray and learn from the Collins mistake..
