The Lakers went and got Jaxon Hayes some help, but I don’t think he needs any.

I’m assuming Philly will be the favorite when the buyout happens? Ties and all and they created that extra tax space for a reason..
But Dallas probably calls there as well. Orlando, Brooklyn.. OKC (I’m still on them finding a break glass vet guard to play behind SGA/Cason but Lowry likely feels he deserves more than that role)..
Orlando would seem his best chance to play a big role on a play-in/playoff team. All he has to beat out is Fultz right?

Fine, I guess. He was overpaid, but performing at an MLEish level (maybe tax MLE?), can still drive, create, great Ast:TO. Spencer can still contribute on O even with a eFG% of 48%
But who on the LAL will defend quick guards on the perimeter? Definitely not Spencer . . . he was always "laterally challenged", and looks noticeably worse this year

Good pickup...Best buyout freebie on the market.
I wouldn't have traded for him, but I would have welcomed him in for a tryout as PGOTF for ORL. He's better than what's here now. I'd hand him the keys and give him every shot to grab the job. I don't blame him for wanting to contend - he could actually play a big role, probably starting with DLo firing away off the bench.
Dejounte is better - but, apparently, not attainable and not 3 frps better. Hate the Lakers, but love it for the Lakers

Been a while since I've heard such a glowing review.

y'know, it's tempered greatly by the fact that he's effectively free...good pickup for no real risk. Great situations can make guys look good too...and the opposite, of course.

The man who elected to be paid in cryptocurrency playing in Crypto.com arena feels like it was an inevitability.

Plus...he's got a great 70's Norm Nixon kind of look

LA signed Gabe Vincent to be the 3 and D point guard with the ability to space the floor playing off James/Reaves as the main ball handlers.
Adding a healthy Vincent and Dinwiddie is a big upgrade for the Lakers backcourt than what LA had. I assume both guys come off the bench and can fit in any combination with Reaves or Russell, or in 3 guard lineups.
Russell/Vincent
Reaves/Dinwiddie
Rui/Prince
James/Vando
Davis/Wood
Still missing a big guy to allow Davis to play some 4, but the rotation makes sense.
Again - taking minutes away from Max Christie and Cam Reddish and replacing them with Gabe Vincent and Spencer Dinwiddie is the Lakers trade deadline

Nah, he is going to join the Nova Knicks...
Happy that we were not in the discussion with Dinwiddie. Certainly is a guy who will get his shots and take some offense away from LeBron.

I like McBride too much. Hope you steer away from Lowry.

I think he'd be fine in a back up role. I am expected Brunson to miss some time here and there and would frankly love for Thibs to have a player he trusts to allow Brunson to not play 38 mpg.
