Spurs trade Keldon Johnson, Devonte' Graham, Tre Jones, Zach Collins, 2024 SAS 1st (#3), 2024 TOR 1st (#7), 2024 SAS 2nd (#33), 2025 SAS 1st, 2025 CHI 1st, 2025 ATL 1st, 2026 ATL 1st swap, 2027 ATL 1st
Spurs receive Trae Young, Brandon Ingram
San Antonio goes big after an amazing rookie season from Wemby, cashing in on rebuilding assets to make a run early in his career, with an elite offensive PG, and a great versatile star wing. Trae/Vassell/Ingram/Sochan/Wemby. Depth is needed but this is the start of something tremendous.

Pelicans trade Brandon Ingram, CJ McCollum, Dyson Daniels
Pelicans receive Dejounte Murray, Keldon Johnson, Tre Jones, 2024 TOR 1st (#7)
Real quick retool for the Pelicans, who swap out Ingram for a solid starting PG in Murray, a good wing scorer, and a top 7 pick (to go along with #14 and #21 that they have already). Balancing their roster with a lineup of Murray/Keldon/Herb/Zion/Val + a deep bench including some combo of Jones/Jose/Hawkins/Murphy/Nance/#7/#14/#21

Hawks trade Dejounte Murray, Trae Young
Hawks receive CJ McCollum, Dyson Daniels, Zach Collins, Devonte' Graham, 2024 SAS 1st (#3), 2024 SAS 2nd (#33), 2025 SAS 1st, 2025 CHI 1st, [2025 ATL 1st, 2026 ATL 1st swap, 2027 ATL 1st returned]
Atlanta punts everything, receiving picks #3 and #33 this year, along with 4 future 1sts and a swap including the rights to their own picks, so they can rebuild from the ground up. CJ gets parted out in another deal for more rebuilding pieces and they get to give Dyson a good run in a bigger role.

Interesting idea. Seems bad for the Pels - I have Ingram > Dejounte even with his looming FA (no reason to toss in Dyson too).

It's a good haul for the Hawks, but I don't think the Spurs would want to trade for Ingram. They'd probably just try to trade for Trae and then go for Ingram in FA (if they had cap space).

Yeah with Wemby, Trae, Vassell.. I’m not sure I’d need to pay to get and pay Ingram.. Would rather keep some draft capital and get defense.

I wouldn't do the ATL part of this trade if I were SA, but if I did, I would cut NOP out. They're not adding anything but sucking out value. The Pelicans are the perfect example for why the Spurs shouldn't cash in now. They tried to accelerate with Davis and Williamson and hurt their team both times. This is a much worse example of that.

This is pretty bad value for the Pels. I think there’s a chance that Murray is a better fit next to Ingram but his ceiling is lower. Dyson seems to be almost a throw in to this deal. That pick is top 10 but in a bad draft when we could already have up to two additional firsts.

Im not sure these pieces make the Pels better or fit better
