GSW trades Kuminga, Podzemski, Paul (or Wiggins), 25 & 27 FRP - Pelicans can choose Paul or Wiggins (Paul being released if chosen)
Pelicans return Ingram.
Warriors bring in a running mate who can be a 1b player next to Curry.
Pelicans reduce the payroll and have the option of Murphy, Jones, Kuminga with Zion. With these 3 they may be inclined to move Zion for a huge number of picks.

I’d happily keep Kuminga and Podz if I’m GS. Ingram is great but injury prone. Kuminga and Podz are showing a lot of promise and it’s good to have youth to rely on if you have an older team.

Ingram on an expiring deal is just not bringing this back unless he has some kind of miraculous playoff run and at that point they are not selling off Ingram. Warriors are better off gambling on youth or going more outside the box and look at a reclamation project like Lavine.

Why are the Pelicans moving Ingram for salary relief and looking to move Zion for picks? Do they not like winning?

I like BI but that's way too rich for my taste.

Haha wow, no way the Warriors touch that spectacular overpay for Brandon Ingram. I'm not sure I'd even trade Podz for him straight up, factoring in contract situations.

Yea, I agree with others that the value is off here. But instead of us all repeating that, I really wonder what teams and trade offers Pelicans would realistically get for Ingram. Let's brainstorm together and discuss:

Setting aside the value for a sec (and the likely weird relationship that Kerr probably has with BI), I'm not sure why the Pels trade BI for a pu pu platter. Pels have a ton options to maintain financial flexibility. Even though they are good players, I dont really see how the Warriors players integrate to what the Pels have already. Podz is great but undersized and one of the key advantages the Pels have is their size. I think Kuminga ideally plays at the 4 which is the position of our best player. Just too many issues here.

GS would offer Wiggins, partially guaranteed CP3 to make money work, and multiple picks for BI.

Probably doesn't get it done from NO perspective.

A 6'4 PG is not undersized. He's also 204 lbs so he's got a strong frame for his height.

He's bigger than CJ, for example.

He is if he’s playing shooting guard especially next to a 6’3 point guard. Regardless of whether CJ or podz is the nominal point guard, it’s and undersized balc court.
