SPURS
In:Ja
Out:Keldon/Graham/#3/#7/Hawks Picks
SPURS form one of the most exciting duos in the League for the next 10 years
VW
Collins
Sochan/FA
Vassell/Braham
Ja/Tre
HAWKS
In:Keldon/Graham/Hawks Picks return/#7
Out:Murray/OO
Hawks reorganize around Trae, get their picks back and get a mid-lottery pick
Capela
JJ/Bey
Hunter/Griffin
Keldon/Bufkin /#7(Castle?)
Trae/Graham
GRIZZLIES
In:#3/Murray/OO
Out:Ja
The Grizzlies move on from the Ha drama and get a good replacement in Murray and an ideal fit with JJJ in OO...in this scenario they would have the #3+#6 selection...which they could transform into a Topic +C.Williams combo
OO/Aldama
JJJ/GGJ
Bane/#6
Smart /Vince
Murray /#3

I think that is way too much value for Murray + OO.
Ja even in his current state has more value than #3 + OO than Murray.

Grizz not trading Ja, package is light and definitely not in division.

SAS is paying way too much for Ja given his (off-court) issues...Four firsts (at least 2 lottery, and probably 3 or 4), a swap that looks potentially pretty good to me (better of SAS/ATL in 26), a decent player (Keldon) and expirings is way too much for a guy apparently trying to get himself thrown out of the league for being a dumb-ass.

The talent and on-court fit is worth it. Ja's better than Trae Young, for example. Ja doesn't exist in a vacuum unfortunately, and the NBA doesn't have conditional picks like the NFL does where a team could protect themselves from the downside if Morant falls off the deep end. Considering that it doesn't really hurt the Spurs going forward, it's probably still worth it. Morant/Vassell/Wembanyama is a trio that fits really well together. But the team would need to make moves to get other stuff done. They'd need some veteran forwards and more defenders.

I don’t think Memphis is interested in trading Ja to rebuild? They should be thinking they could get to finals next year and will have a top 7 pick developing. It was a really sad lost season for a fun up and coming team. But they should be expected to be better next year than they were last year and the core is locked up.

Yep no interest. It would have to be some kind of star for a star trade and with Ja's issues that is not likely to happen and don't think we will take the perceived write down another team will want to get Ja. Memphis is going to very likely with some minor tweaks enter next season with their best roster ever, now is not the time to pull the rip cord and trade for some nice pieces so we can top out as a 2nd round team. You have to have an engine to win big in this league, and Ja is our best bet still to be that guy.
Now if this draft was much stronger I would consider the deal, but I would simply just cut out the Hawks and keep those picks too. Draft 3/6/7 this year and have the Hawks picks in our back pocket ready to move for a difference making star and open routes to max space in 2025. But unfortunately I have to concur with most people's assessment that this draft at the top is very weak which would lend me to not wanting to do this leg of the trade either. I think Ja and Memphis is ride or die for at least a few more seasons.

I don't see why Memphis even considers trading Ja. Yeah he's had his off-court issues, but are they really issues to be concerned about? Outside of an ungodly amount of value, any team trading for Ja, is trading for him without concerns of Ja not playing for them in the future, and with the caliber of player he is, Memphis could possibly get fleeced real bad if and when the off-court stuff becomes a non-factor.

I don't think people realize Ja is a top 5 player when he's playing.
He's not getting traded unless he ask for a trade.
