Utah receives: Middleton, option to swap their 2028 pick with the worst of 2028 Bucks and Blazers picks, option to swap their 2030 pick with the worst of the 2030 Bucks and Blazers picks, unprotected 2031 Bucks pick
Utah sends: Collin Sexton

Bucks receive: Collin Sexton, Alex Caruso
Bucks send: Swapped swaps in 2028 and 2030, Middleton, late first 2024, early second 2024, unprotected 2031 first, 2031 second

Bulls receive: Late first 2024, early second 2024, 2031 second from Bucks, fairly large TPE
Bulls send: Alex Caruso

Note: This trade would have to be agreed upon on draft night (with the Bucks picking the players the Bulls want) with the trade being executed after the start of free agency.

Why for the Jazz: Turn Sexton and cap space into potentially valuable picks
Why for Bucks: Stay under second apron while adding two valuable players if Middleton looks like he can't be valuable anymore
Why for Bulls: Get picks for Caruso

Pretty sure CHI/UTA can do better if they opt to move those guys.

Let's try to make the pick the Bulls get around 20th rather than late, the early 2nd sounds good mainly because the Bulls have virtually no 2nds for 3-5 years. If the TPE is equal to Caruso's guaranteed $9.8M that's not the biggest prize to brag about but neither team has a suitable contract to send the Bulls. I mean if he plays enough games AC is probably 1st team all league defensive team again

Bucks pass. I would consider moving Middleton, but not giving up those picks to do it.

And Sexton is not a valuable player.

Why isn't Sexton valuable?

He is putting up 18/5 on 48/40/86 shooting splits [+58 TS+], rocking a very solid 3.8 OBPM and .143 WS/48. He has a terrific 38% FTR and is doing all this on a massive 27% Usage.

He is better this year than Rozier ever has been, who was just traded for expiring money + 1st--yet Sexton makes significantly less than Rozier does.

Look, I will be the first to admit I was low on Sexton prior to this year because like you said, he wasn't a valuable player. However, as he is entering his prime years, he is showing that he can be a very productive piece on a competitive team.

All this said, he shouldn't be the target for Milwaukee as Sexton isn't an ideal pairing with Lillard.

The fit on the Bucks is far from ideal. He'd be an excellent sixth man, but Bucks would need a starter to replace Mid.
