Cleveland: Donovan Mitchell
Phoenix: Devin Booker
Cavs: Get a bigger guard who is less ball dominant to let Garland and Lavert be primary ball handlers.
Phoenix: Get a more ball dominant guard who can run the offense play more of a distributor role.

Booker has more value and Clev should consider paying it. How much is the question?
Does Mitchell resign/extend to tie himself to a declining Durant/Beal and not much in the way of assets to bring in more talent?

What makes you thnk that Mitchell "can run the offense play more of a distributor role" than Booker?

Think Cleveland owes a good amount of value, but Phoenix really just can’t trade for an expiring star. That’s probably the worst direction the team can go IMO..

Wouldn’t Durant for Garland and more be better for both teams? Cleveland needs a wing, suns need a pg.

I think if this were to happen Mitchell would have to sign an extension as part of the trade.

Cleveland politely declines. I mean I'd take the original deal just because of the value offered, but I'd be more interested in a Durant based deal anyway.

Durant for Garland and Allen if that gets Mitchell to extend
Mitchell
Strus
Durant
Wade
Mobley
Bring in Bud for JB and that’s a nice team.

I don’t think anyone in this thread understands the hate that the 2 owners of these teams have for each other. They are both 1 & 2 in the exact same industry, that are located in the same town, both went to the same college. Gilbert was the only owner to vote against the suns owner. No trade will ever happen

I do, but this is a message board so we have fun.

We'd have to take back Nurkic for it to work for Phoenix, and we'd need a backup center anyway, but, value aside, I think you're doubling down on the same problem you had when you made the Mitchell trade.
Big men take longer to develop and Mobley isn't there yet. I don't know who's playing PF for the Cavs with Mobley at center, but the answer can't be Wade or Niang for obvious but differing reasons. At the point where we're sending out both Allen and Garland out for Durant, the Suns need to send back another solid PF who is cap friendly, and they don't have one to send.
