Do people think KCP will become the next Bruce Brown and get poached? What $$$ and years would you offer him/think he will get in FA?

(He has a PO for 16M that he will turn down in all likelihood)

If OKC cared about winning now, I could see them offering a 4/100 and then dumping him with their excess picks the year after.

No idea what OKC's plan is though.

I feel like he could go with the Bruce Brown contract. Short, contract but a lot of money. I think he will get more than Brown. Thinking it might be with Detroit.

OKC just swept a team in the playoffs…

I think Denver will pay to keep KCP and he will give them a chance to match whatever contract he’s offered.. 31 year old with a really important role on one of the few true contenders feels like a good situation..

Similar to other over the apron teams, they have no way of replacing talent - except unlike some they have won a title and have Joker. They’ve traded all their future firsts and can’t replace him outside of hoping for Braun? Seems like a bad idea…

I think his market is $20M per and he gets a couple million you-can't-lose-me-for-nothing premium out of the Nuggets.

Doing stuff like that is just a very bad idea. Teams tend to have long memories about that type of thing.
