Portland - Sac

Another variation. This is the all-in version.

Blazers do it to get two first round picks (lotto/unprotected).
Kings do it for two long term core pieces.

Kings send: #13/2027 1st unprotected/Port’s 2025 2nd/Davion/Barnes/Huerter/Sasha/Duarte

Blazers send: Grant/Brogdon/Williams/Murray

This comes up like 175k off in the machine but I’m sure there’s a way.

Portland gets picks, shooting, better contracts/flexibility, and a look at Davion.

Kings get four players to add to their rotation with Grant/Murray being long term additions. It costs a lottery pick and an unprotected pick.

I guess this is better than trading 13 + Barnes for Grant.

Brogdan - Monk - Kris - Lyles - Williams
That's a hell of a bench.

Works for me.

Would be fun to see the Murray bros in action on the same team.

I think PDX wants to keep BB.

If PDX wins the lotto and can snag Sarr I would try something like -

Jerami Grant, Robert Williams III, Kris Murray, Jabari Walker JR, #33 for Kevin Heurter, Sasha Vezenkov, Davion Mitchell, Chris Duarte, #13, 27 FRP (IDK on protections) [Ideally w/ Sasha going to a PO team that wants a shooter]

SAC ends up w/ -

G - De'Aaron Fox / Malik Monk / #33
G - Keon Ellis / Malik Monk / Colby Jones
F - Keegan Murray / Harrison Barnes / Kris Murray
F - Jerami Grant / Trey Tyles / Jabari Walker JR
C - Domatas Sabonis / Robert Williams III / Alex Len

Never really a fan of sending unprotected picks down the road especially in a pretty loaded west with young stars.

I have a hard time stomaching the 2 picks for the OP. 2 picks and I'm not getting Brogdon? No thank you. Take out 2027 and Walker and this is fine I guess.

Timelord = Davion/Duarte
Grant + Kris + 33 = Huerter + Sasha + 13

Timelord = Davion/Duarte
Grant + Kris + 33 = Huerter + Sasha + 13

I have no value on Davion or Duarte so I would just keep it the simple, overly conversated deal of Grant + Kris + SRP (I would push for 40, not 33) for 13 and filler.

Ya this isn't my first choice, and I hope the team looks elsewhere but

Grant + Kris + 33 for Huerter or Barnes + Duarte or Sasha + 13

That's pretty much what's been deemed acceptable by most fans of both teams.

Agreed. If 13 is included Kris needs to be too.

This version is meant to go all the way. I have no idea why Portland would prioritize keeping Brogdon over a future pick. Davion can fill his role next year, Blazers aren’t going to win anything anyways.

I'm not one to want a team stripped down completely, but this is way too good to pass up from my Portland-biased POV. An unprotected pick in three years is a great return for the whole lot, IMO.

I like this Kings squad and get the idea of upgrading wherever they can using the assets they have. But I don't think this Portland haul gets them anywhere, really. I wouldn't do it.

Can see that take. But this doesn’t stop Sac with no way to improve. They still have room to move over the next 3-4 run. But it does give them great depth and a four man that works.

Sabonis/Williams/Len/Lyles
Grant/Lyles/Murray
Murray/Murray
Ellis/Monk
Fox/Brogdon

Plus the MLE, Biannual, a 2026 pick and all picks post 2028 open.

That team has the balance of offense and defense, age and youth, skill and athleticism…that’s a team that makes it to the second round basically de facto. For Sac that’s huge. It only takes one or two breaks and….conference finals or even finals. Totally worth it for Sac.
