All of the top 3 teams traded away their star(s) and could use a boost to draw fans/become competitive again. I got the top 3 right last year so hoping for a repeat

Yeah, I dunno. I'm not sure it warrants bragging rights anymore than me correctly predicting I flip a coin and I getting heads, then tails, then tails again.

Unless, again, you think it isn't random.

In any event, the Pistons have fallen to 5th despite having top odds two years in a row now. May as well make it a hat trick. It's already been raining for a long time. May as well pour again.

I assume it's random; the most likely conspiracy theory one was Patrick Ewing to the Knicks. The league helping the biggest market recover from decades of bad decision making seemed awfully fortuitous considering the odds.

There was also Kyrie post Lebron and Zion post AD. Both Orlando and SAS also got #1 when they were missing a franchise player. All just a coincidence of course

NBA will award Memphis for competing the whole season albeit the record number of injuries, so we´ll jump to top 4

SAS gets #1 overall, trades down for the guy they wanted all along. #1 overall busts and their guy is multiple all star.

Considering I think the lottery is rigged I will give my guess.

1st this is a weak draft. The Spurs need a legit running mate for Wemby, but one problem they won the #1 pick last year. No chance they get #1 when next year draft is much better.

Washington feels like the team that will get #1 imo.

The nba usually rewards teams whose star players leave after asking for a trade, so i think it'll be the blazers, who will take a big that has career ending injuries within his first few years or be a bust over a guard that leads the league in scoring year after year.
