Nets get: Dejounte Murray, Bogdan Bogdanovic
Hawks get: Mikal Bridges, Dennis Schroder (to be moved in a future trade)

Hawks add the defense (hypothetically if Bridges returns to form on defense...) they desperately need while the Nets add some degree of shot making and shot creation after a miserable offensive season.

This assumes that the Nets completely strike out on every possible star.

Missing draft compensation from Atlanta.

Overall I don’t think Brooklyn would be interested in this direction.

I think Atlanta would ask for someone better than Schroeder to come back with Mikal, but I like this trade for the Nets.

Add to Mikal first and foremost, then upgrade Mikal and lastly trade Mikal for a prospect with more upside than him.

This is the type of move where they end up sucking just as bad.

does this trade improve the nets in the standings? from 11th to 10th? Is that worth ruining their 2025 cap plans?
