OKC Trades: Josh Giddey, 2025 1st rd pick(least valuable)
Receives: Jerami Grant, removed protections from Denver 2029 1st
Denver Trades: Zeke Nnaji, 2024 1st rd pick(#28), removes protection from 2029 1st rd pick owed to OKC(becomes unprotected)
Receives: Josh Giddey
Portland Trades: jerami Grant
Receives: 2024 1st rd pick from Denver(#28), least valuable 1st rd pick from OKC in 2025, Zeke Nnaji
Why: Denver gets a secondary ball handler who can help Jamal Murray play a bit more off ball. OKC gets a lengthy defensive wing who could help bolster their starting lineup. Portland gets two 1st rd picks and takes a flyer on Zeke Nnaji.

Hard pass from POR.
Not moving Grant for a couple weak picks and a backup when team is starved for talent.

I was hoping and expecting this to be one of the first replies. You did not disappoint. Jroy have it all.

I still believe in Giddey talent so I don't want to send him to a rival. I'm also not a big fan of Grant coming back to OKC even if it might be only option left comes free agency

I don't think Portland does this trade, we already have four picks in this draft. I think they'd prefer to get future picks for Jerami.
I don't see why OKC does this. OKC is light in the front-court (as in weight size) and Jerami is notoriously not a great rebounder.

Give the Blazers a more valuable 2025 pick and I’m on board, but not worst of their 5(?) first round picks from pretty good teams. Maybe 2nd best. I think Denver also needs to add value going to OKC.

How much? One 2nd round pick?
