Denver trades: Zake Nnaji, 2024 1st rd pick (#28 - draft day trade)
Denver recives: Dante Exum, Dwight Powell

Dallas trades: Dante Exum, Dwight Powell, Tim Hardaway Jr., 2025 1st rd pick (lottery protected)
Dallas recives: Alex Caruso, Zake Nnaji

Chicago trades: Alex Caruso
Chicago recives: Tim Hardaway Jr., 2025 1st rd pick (lottery protected) from Dallas, 2024 1st rd pick (#28) from Denver

Why for Denver
- Denver trades Nnaji and #28 pick to get 2 rotational peaces in position of need - backup PG and C. Dante Exum and Dwight Powell are not in Dallas playoffs rotation, but were in regular season rotation. They both are improvement on what Nuggets had. If Reggie opts out Nuggets clear enough money to resign KCP to 20% rise, sign one more vet and stay under 2nd apron. If Reggie opts in trade dim with 2nd for cap space.

Why for Dallas
- Dallas recives Alex Caruso, an upgrade over THJ who can start with Kyrie and Luka or come off the bench, clear 4.5 mil off the books for the prise of 1 protected 1st and Nnaji's contract. Nnaji is still 22 and can become strech 4 he was projected to be on draft.

Why for Chicago - I'm not sure of the direction Chicago will take in the future, but 2x1st for Caruso is a good price. Thay also get THJ who was inconsistent but had good shoting seasons on 1 year deal.

chicago probably pushes for lower protections given that it cant roll over. They may also not want THJ as it puts them into the tax if they bring derozan and P will back

As a Mavs fan it's a yes for me...I would even remove protections if necessary, Caruso is my favorite target this offseason...I would continue trying to trade Green for someone cheaper (C.Martin Hornets) to bring back DJJ

Not sure Denver would send that 1st?

This is draft night trade bulls would be 7m over tax, unless they could flip THJ somewhere quickly to get under again!
Denver can’t take that much Salary, limit is 110%

Like the idea, a few tweaks and will be ok I think, not sure what they look like tho

No need for tweaks, deal would be done as July 1st deal, DEN will pick for CHI, happens all the time with draft day deals...

Powell is unplayable in playoffs, and Nuggets have better "Exum" in Watson. Its easy no from Nuggets.
I think Nuggets can get real bench piece with Nnaji and 1st rounder.

Agreed on the lower protections, but trading Caruso would mean a rebuild. Doubt they resign derozan. They would keep LaVine, attempt to rebuild value, then look to trade at the deadline.

Being a mavs fan, I would do this. Not sure about the other teams.

Nobody is sure which way the Bulls are going, not even the Bulls.

Bulls are OK taking on THJ who is going to be a shooter off the bench and has to be a floor leader of that bench group, not just a guy firing up shots. The ONLY way they take him and his salary is 2 picks, DAL makes it top 10 not lottery, if they want to move THJ even for one year it's going to cost
