Something centred around the following:
Brown/boucher/19th pick for wiggins/moody/stuff
Podz replaced moody, 19 can replace moody before hes an rfa
Gstate gets out from wiggins long term money
Brown is an excellent back up/mentor to kuminga.
Boucher is a perfect fit off the bench for them.
For the raps:
Everyones perfectly slotted.
Rj quick wiggins barnes jakub is possibly the 2nd seed in the division (knicks are headed for the infirmary!).

Feels a little too expensive for Wiggins

I think the 19 is too much. How about a simplified Brown for Wiggins straight swap?

The Warriors FO is looking to make a trade utilizing Wiggins and/or CP3's contract and other pieces to make a big upgrade. If that doesn't work out, I would be more interested in this simplified swap than the OP's offer.

Wiggins is a negative contract, right?

I'd assume so. Though IMO Brown (if option picked up) and Boucher are also negative contracts, at least a little bit.
Also, GS doesn't need to dump Wiggins just to dump Wiggins. That's pointless. They're financially fine as-is. The Poole trade last summer was the salary dump move they needed to make.
A Wiggins deal would (or at least should) be to either get an overpaid player who fits better or tied with incentive to get a clear better player.

Appreciate the insight
Just for comparisons sake, what would you propose to balance out the trade?
Brown + what for wiggins + what ?
Cheers!

If I’m the Warriors I’m not adding anything to Wiggins for Brown. I would just move on from CP3 and try and sign Klay to a reasonable contract or let him go. Try and see if Wiggins can regain some of his glory year. Not a fan of Bruce Brown

Yup
In a vacuum, thinking only of asset value, 100% thats the rub, wiggins is an excellent buy low.
On the otherhand, kuminga man. This kids ceiling is stupid. Like giannis stupid.
Coupled with gstates cap crunch…
Chris paul babysitting and nurturing the bench mob might be just what the doctor ordered.

Easy no from toronto… Wiggins is bad and a bad contract would require a FRP to get off of him.
Brown-Wiggins +FRP would be the starting point

And that would be the ending point. Browns not worth his contract. I would just keep Wiggins and the Raps can just let Brown walk. Or keep. No 1st would be coming your way

Paul at $30M just isn't an option. There is no scenario where GS keeps him at $30M for that role (there's a small but non-zero chance GS guarantees money to trade him in a star deal if that becomes an option). He's also not a great fit as the team style is to play very uptempo and Paul at this point can only play half-court.
He can be a good veteran backup for a team that plays mostly half-court but that's a role he's going to get offered for MLE money at most and probably much less.
Moving Wiggins to clear more SF minutes for Kunminga and Moody has some value, but his salary needs to go for filling another hole - with the need for another starting big with at least a little 3-point range being the biggest (aside from general star hunting). That's why I've come around to some Wiggins for overpaid, iffy big who sort of fits deals such as Collins or Vuc (not thrilled by them, but see some merit if there isn't a significant win-now improvement that would justify moving future 1st(s) for).

Any GSW trade for a player making $25m+ needs to take into account the simple question: Does this make them serious contenders?
Simple answer to this? No.
Warriors have limited assets and a smaller window for Curry’s last chance. This simply doesn’t do much and while Wiggins has been horrendous the last two years, hoping he regains form is more upside than hoping brown and Boucher reach a new level in their career.
So warriors probably say no.
