Dort/3 firsts (including 12) for Sabonis
Jarrett Allen for 2 firsts(12)/Barnes
BI for 2 firsts(13)
Sabonis/13/Barnes for Allen/BI/Dort

Cavs and Pels are in it for the picks. Two firsts for their guy they are looking to move.

Thunder are in it for a title. Chet/Sabonis is unbelievable.

Kings are in it to build a long term deep playoff squad.

Again, OKC has so many assets that they would likely hold-out and just add Giddey+Dieng+1st(s) instead of Dort.

Their perimeter defense really goes to **** by adding Sabonis and losing Dort.

Makes sense for Cleveland.

I feel like New Orleans isn't in an asset acquisition period here and would prefer a player.

Giddey/Dieng/Kenrich/#12/Future 1st for Allen

Allen/Garland for BI/Giddey/Dieng/#12/Future 1st

BI for Garland/Kenrich

Something like this, without Sacramento, seems cleaner and easier.

Sabonis isn’t getting traded so it’s moot.

I've yet to see a Cavs trade where adding Sacramento worked out better for the Cavs.

Allen doesn’t pair as well with Chet IMO.

I’ve read the Pels are looking to build around Zion and have some players that will get expensive soon and could be looking for a couple firsts for BI. Maybe they want a BI/Garland swap more.

I get the argument that they want to keep the paint clear for SGA, but the Allen doesn't pair well with Chet argument doesn't make any sense to me.

Doesn’t pair as well, more redundant. Chet is the perfect player to be along side Sabonis.

I think this trade wins OKC a title. They can backfill Dort’s defense, plenty of assets to do so.

How are Chet and Allen redundant? They're nothing alike. Allen is a much better screener than Chet, a better rebounder, and an uber efficient lob threat who doesn't need to handle the ball. Chet can shoot, handle in space, but struggles against big bigs and is ineffective at setting screens.

Look, N.O. would prefer Allen over picks even if OKC wouldn't be interested. That's not speculation. They tried to trade trade for him twice over the last two months. Assuming his contract expectations are in anyway reasonable, the Cavs would prefer BI over Barnes and picks.

I like Sabonis (one of the few here who liked the trade for the Kings). But he strikes me much more as a player who takes a bad team and makes them competitive. Plays hard every night, rebounds like crazy, good scorer, great big man playmaker.

But as the final piece to a contender? I don't see that at all. He's already a guy maxing out every bit of ability he has. And to get the most out of him, you need to run your offense through him. And OKC isn't going to want to do that.

If OKC is shelling out a bunch of assets, they should go get a perfect fit. They don't have to settle. And they definitely don't have to just toss in Dort for funsies.
