Monte should seriously consider loading up on youth. Next year he likely has no pick. To improve to the next level, he likely has to trade more picks. Sabonis/Fox aren’t cheap. A long term successful team in this cap environment will need rookie scale guys.

13/45 for 25/25/38

Knicks consulate and move up. Might even look to trade 13 for a player.

Kings draft a 4/5 fit with Sabonis (Holmes type) and a bench gunner in case Monk goes (I’d take Sallis). At 38 there will be mature players Monte will like, a guy like Bridges.

If he hits on one, that’s a good draft. In this draft more options in the middle is better than fewer options at the ends.

If the Knicks love someone at #13, sure.

The Knicks need to replenish their bench so the best move is draft the ready to play players at 24, 25 & 38.

Fully agree with you SNPA. The Kings need to add as much youth as possible otherwise they're going to be in cap hell and no way to get better.

I think Monte should be looking at making this type of deal. I would still love for him to trade #13 for a late 1st this year and late 1st next year though.

Kings are rightfully looking for a vet as reported by Evan Sidery

There is a higher chance of the player at #13 hitting than #24 and #25

NY has drafted IQ @ 25, Quentin Grimes @ 25, Mitchell Robinson @ 36, Miles McBride @ 36 & Jericho Sims @ 58
they have a good change at getting a hit with 3 times at bat. They also will have to use up a lot of cap with OG & Hartenstein.

I disagree with this premise. People getting worked up over bad draft. Maybe there's no wemby, but seems like plenty of potential starters. I'll let my GM who has a decent draft history make the better pick before diluting like this.

Sadly Vivek is a short term type of owner and I don’t think we will add youth.

This draft is inside out and peppered. Talent is going to be scattered in a broader pattern than normal IMO.

For ex.

I’d take Homes/George and be thrilled.

I fear the Kings are going down the same path as the Chicago Bulls.
