99% of trades overvalue Jarrett Allen, but this one seemingly undervalues him.
I think Minnesota, at the very least, sends #27 to Cleveland.

I was debating sending the Cavs a pick. I opted not to include a pick going to Cleveland simply because I am a Cavs fan and I didn't want to appear greedy.

Minnesota is taking back $3.2 million but they are also adding an extra rotation player. I am sure they could find a 3rd team to take back Nance if they really want to shed his salary.

Well you have to do it as part of OP or this trade is illegal for them

Moore Jr (into TPE) and sending out #27 (cap hold) to Cavs should do it.

Minnesota is not trading Naz Reid. He's as untouchable as Edwards. This summer at least.

Come on man.
He is hard to trade due to salary implications, but he isn't untouchable. A high draft pick and I'll gladly drive Naz to the airport.

this hardcaps Minny at 2nd apron for aggregating players in a trade, think thats still a problem isnt it

I think the Cavs just take the Pels package and then, if the Wolves want to talk about something around Nance and a 2024 1st for Reid, we can have that conversation.

Nawlins isn't trading Daniels, whose just beginning to bloom, for a 5 that doesn't shoot 3's.

The Wolves will just have that conversation with New Orleans then.

This, the trade is fair on the face but I would absolutely hate it. Daniels is a 20yo defender who finished 2nd in d-Lebron & is arguable better, more versatile than Herb who just made 1st team defense. His issues are on the offensive end, where Zion is in need of spacing & while NO's could trade Daniels for something now to benefit Zion. Daniels has shown the potential from 3 is there.
Just last yr Teams were sagging off of Herb. This year, he confidently shot 40% on decent volume, no hesitation. NO's having a very good shooting coach.
I wouldn't trade his potential just yet. Especially for a 5 that would have issues when teams zone Zion as he doesn't even attempt 3's more less have the potential to make them. Nance who was solid defensively over Jonas was a -6.5 paired with the starters. Factor in the fact he's either expiring or in need of a pay day in as short as 2yrs.
I'd bank on Daniels offensive potential as a "proven" elite, versatile defensive guard.
Daniels is part reason I'd even consider trading Herb for someone like Sarr. As he could potentially, effectively, replace the loss.

Fair trade value wise OP but I don't like it.

They should, but Griffin has wanted Allen for years and the Pelicans have to salary match for Allen.

Pelicans only have rights to the MIL '25 1st if it lands top 5, otherwise it goes to the Knicks. I also do not see the Pels adding two 1sts plus Dyson for a C. I know the Pels have inquired about Allen before, but with Trajan gone and Griff building around Zion exclusively now, I think Pels FO would gamble on Naz over Allen due to the shooting. Zion-Herb-Allen lineup makes it all but impossible not to be bottom 5 in 3PA's.

This would also hard cap them under the second apron, due to salary aggregation.
