What are these guys going to get as free agents?

MLE? Up? Down?

I’m probably way off, but I would say a multi-year deal under (10 per) or a short term 1+1 type deal over (17 per)

I think Toppin gets MLE or more. He would fit perfectly into Sacramento's MLE as a nice fit next to Sabonis.

I think Indiana looks to retain him at a similar number as well.

I go back and forth. Jalen brings the size, Toppin the athleticism. Both the shooting, likely. Toppin could get over MLE though, I don’t think so for Smith.

It looks like it will one of them, draft Holmes (maybe Filipkowski) or trade.

Toppin has essentially NO lateral movement ability, especially defensively. He’d be fun to watch offensively with Sabonis, for sure, but it would be a devastatingly horrible defensive pairing for Sacramento.

Jalen could be an interesting partner there. He’s stout enough, and somewhat mobile enough to play the 4 next to Sabonis for solid minutes? I think it would all depend on if his long range shot is falling or not as to whether it’d be a great pairing or not.

I don't think Jalen approaches the MLE. Probably something similar to what Kyle Anderson signed 2 years ago.

If the Pels have access to the full MLE, I think they would offer Jalen most of it. He's obviously flawed, but he is a decent backup big that rebounds well and can somewhat space the floor. His shooting more above the break 3's than in the corners fits nicely with Zion and Herb. 3/$28.5 or 3/$31.5 with a TO on the third year.
