Pistons/Nets/Pelicans/Grizz
Pelicans out: Brandon Ingram, #17, 2025 Lakers first
Pelicans Mikal Bridges
Why: Upgrade defensivly at the 3 and avoid paying BI a huge contract, gain 13 mil in cap space
Nets out: Mikal Bridges
Nets in: Jaden Ivey, Brandon Clarke, #9, Lakers pick
Why: Bridges is 27 and only signed for two more years at a cheap number, they sell high getting two picks plus Ivey. They accomplish trading in to this years draft right before the draft
Pistons out: Jaden Ivey, Beef Stew
Pistons in: Brandon Ingram who signs a 4 year 180 mil declining extension with no options either way.
Why: They improve talent level and add shooting while still retaining the #5 and enough cap space to chase a free agent
Grizz out: #9
Grizz in: #17, Beef Stew
Why: the Grizz drop down a few spots to get a physical interior presence that can also stretch the floor a little bit

Memphis values Clarke similar to Stew, it would have to be Kennard here for it to work for Memphis. IMO not a big fan of Steward, we need real size, not another 6 8" guy even with a good wingspan.

If a package around Ivey gets Bridges, I’d rather Detroit try to get Bridges for ourselves

If you offer your 25 unprotected Nets would value that easily over the Lakers pick.
I don't see it from the rumored packages Nets supposedly turned down from Houston.

Rumor is those rumors were false.
Pistons can’t trade our pick in 25.

Take Grizz out. We don’t value Beef Stew that high. Make it Ziaire and #9 for Duren then we can talk.

This. We can beat that offer on our own.

Well I think #5 and Ivey might be able to get him. Problem I see for the Pistons is Bridges is only under contract for 2 more years. Maybe he would agree to extend as part of the deal, but likely at a higher salary.

That works. OP has BI extending, which is the only way that would work.

Two years is plenty of time. If we can’t/don’t want to extend him by the trade deadline of the second year, we could still flip him to recoup some value.

The general feeling at least on my end is that there ISN'T a risk-free path to success for us right now.
This is a risk I think I'd take. That might be foolhardy but it's my feeling on the matter.

Pels have #21, not #17 because they deferred.

I like this idea for all.
Some people really have a way with words. Other people... not... have... way.
