Your offer for the Dallas Aussie Boys

Would a team be interested in Josh Green/Dante Exum? If so, what's your offer?
Ideally Dal would like to shed about 7 million to open up the MLE, while getting back someone who's at least playable

Exum seems like a good minutes eater and better than everyone else at the minimum, unless you are predicting anything over the minimum to be severely squeezed out.
I don't know about Josh Green. Maybe an equally long/valued contract. Maybe you combine him and THJ and get an overpaid 20+ Million player?

From Detroit, we can offer cap space
Green and Exum are on the books for a combined 15.8M. I've got Green as a bit overpaid, and Exum as a nice value on a min contract. If you trade them, I think you can either get better on the court
or save money, but not both.
Which is your priority? If your priority is saving money, you should keep Exum, and teams with cap space like Detroit will consider taking Green for a sweetener. If your priority is getting better, DET can't really help you, and I think you might need to add a pick to trade for anyone who will move the needle for Dallas.

I'd say money so Dallas can redirect that money to DJJ.
I like Det as a Green option, agree he's overpaid. Would do a straight up swap for either Grimes or Troy Brown Jr, not sure if Det would

Doubt it. Detroit has no incentive to shuffle the deck chairs and get a slightly better player on a worse contract. If Detroit can't get a sweetener to take Green's contract, there's no point to a trade, and certainly no reason to add a DET player.

Green and Exum (plus maybe a 2nd?) to Charlotte for Cody Martin? That cuts 7.6 million (part to be replaces by a minimum contract).

dumping Green isn't required to get to the MLE for Jones. And just creates another hole. I know OP hates Josh Green and its fine if he wants to upgrade/replace him. But just giving him away when he plays half the game, is decent defensively, is a big part of their playing faster, and makes corner 3's... IDK about that. He certainly helps you get through a regular season and while I'd love to have a better 7th man for the playoffs, look at the roster and tell me who that is?
Just makes infinitely more sense to move Timmy who can't minutes in front of Green and whose contract expires so you aren't asking them to eat Green's future money.

This. But absolutely dump Green even if it takes a couple of 2nds.

I'd go Troy Brown Jr. for Green and a second.

I've tried to be on my best behavior and go easy on Green and even give him credit when he plays well, but Game 1 was a reminder of why I dislike him. I'm not blaming him for the loss, that was a collective team effort, but Green is a low iq idiot. That one handed dunk that was easy for KP to block and then when he was guarding the much taller KP what does he do? Ducks down. There's just no logical explanation to it. He has no feel for the game.
