Maybe terrible. Probably will be hated?
Atlanta: Murray
Atlanta: Podz, Kuminga, Payton
Atlanta trades Murray and builds a young core around Trae. OO/Sarr/Jalen/Kuminga/Podz/Trae can develop really nicely together and Capela, Hunter, Bogdan help for now. Save a decent amount of the tax needed due to the extra roster spots. Pay to dump Payton later if needed, or maybe trim with Capela if OO/Sarr look ready for it?. Podz/Sarr being on rookie contracts help Atlanta get a look at the core once Jalen/Kuminga get paid before going into the tax?
Brooklyn: Bridges
Brooklyn: Murray, Moody (and Golden State 2025 first?)
Some feel Bridges is worth more than Murray, so Brooklyn keeps their 2025 cap space and adds a first and a prospect (somewhat). Murray works well with Mitchell if it becomes an option, if not DJM might help waste the pick debt years better than Bridges and is locked up an extra year.
Golden State: Kuminga, Moody, Payton, Looney, Podz, (2025 first?)
Golden State: Bridges
Golden State gives up the entire second timeline for Bridges and hopes he can bounce back. Spend to the first apron on Klay and a Jonas type center.

I don't really understand trading Bridges for Murray. So I guess it depends on if they just want a couple assets in a lateralish swap?
Don't mind it for the other 2.

If you can get a young starting shooting guard and forward that fit between Trae and Jalen, sure? Neither Bridges or Murray are worth the picks that Atlanta or Brooklyn could trade though so overall, you are right.
But we have definitely seen enough Murray for Cam+picks, Murray+Capela for Simmons+picks.. etc deals to know it is possible to build a Murray to Brooklyn trade for picks.. this adds a pick and maybe makes it possible to trade for Mitchell and another star level player..

I think Murray makes Brooklyn a bit better, only a couple million more expensive, and he is locked up for an extra year.
Bridges likely elevates teams with top options more so I don’t necessarily disagree with those that have him more valuable than Murray... But I think Murray is more suited for the first option on a low end treadmill team than Bridges?
Maybe I’m too high on DJM still?

I'm not sure Kuminga fits very well with Atlanta, rather you don't need him, he lacks shooting...
Hawks should cut the Warriors and send Murray/Kings FRP/Griffin for Bridges
Trae/Bridges/Johnson/Sarr/0O
that team should cover TraeY on defense

Yeah. That’s ball park value that normally gets tossed around.
But Kuminga will be a fine shooter in the league I think? He’s really young and inconsistent obviously, but the improvement in his FT% and his shot last year hints at him being fine long term.
