Offers for Austin Reaves
Just gauging his value. Lakers love him, but I think he could be traded. The 25-year old averaged 16ppg,6apg,4rpg,1spg,49% FGs, 37% 3 PT FGS, 85% FTs last season. Additionally, his contract is excellent value at 13M this season, 14M next season, and 15M the season after that. What draft pick would Reaves be in this year's draft. What draft pick can the Lakers get for him?

Okay, good to know. None the less, it is still an excellent contract.Godaddycurse wrote:Last year is PO so its really 2 yr 27M left

Hmmm maybe
Reid only has 1 year left, while Reaves has 2 and then Naz will wana get paid
I might want something small back
Would also require us to move some of Dlo? (needs to opt in) Vincent, Rui, Vando, Prince, and picks, swaps, and JHS for a guy like DJM, CJ, Lavine

Interesting
I would probably pull the trigger on that deal.
Miles would be scary playing off LeBron/AD.

I think the value is quite fair, Reaves has 2 years left and Reid has 1, so its pretty fair. I actually think Minny would owe a little bit here
Minny really could use another guy on the perimeter who is a threat like Reaves
Ant didnt have enough outlets
I can see why Minny would be against moving Naz though since having 3 bigs is the way to go vs Den
We could add Wood if that helps? He can stretch the floor a bit, but had a bad year with us where he also got hurt

I would love him on the Wizards. However, the lakers won’t trade him. Like Deni Avidja, he’s beloved by the fan base so it would take a mountain to move him.

Would you trade Holmes + #2 for Reaves?TGW wrote:I would love him on the Wizards. However, the lakers won’t trade him. Like Deni Avidja, he’s beloved by the fan base so it would take a mountain to move him.

He’s not worth #2. He’s 26 years old and the wizards are at least 4 years from being competitive so it wouldn’t make sense. I was thinking more like kuzma and spare parts.

Oh okay. I don't think Lakers would want Kuzma back. At the wing, they need 3 and D, not a 6-9 guy that could score. Lakers already kind of have that guy with Rui, and even then he is more of a 4 than a 3, much like Kuzma. A lot of Laker fans want him for emotional reasons I think.TGW wrote:scoobs07 wrote:Would you trade Holmes + #2 for Reaves?TGW wrote:I would love him on the Wizards. Reaves is not worth a lottery pick. Somewhere in the 20s at best

What? I think many teams in the teens would value him.

WTF?

Bro this can't be a serious offer? No way does Reaves have that kind of value. He's already 26.

He's probably not worth No. 2, but the lottery covers a lot of ground. If the Hawks trade back for Nos. 4 & 8, I'd be very open to swapping No. 8 for Reaves if I were them.

He seems to overlap with what Bogdan already brings. I don't think he could pull #8.
#13/filler to Sac as a Monk replacement makes some sense.
#16/cap from Philly as an affordable 6th man that won't take too much of their cap could work.
End of the day the Lakers are not going to spin him off for a pick that will help them more than just keeping him. So unless there is some big trade that requires a 3rd team giving up value for him, I don't see him traded.
