Lakers out: Deangelo Russell(S&T), Rui Hachimura, Gabe Vincent, ‘24 1st, ‘25 1st, and ‘29 1st(top 5 protected)
Lakers in: Trae Young
Lakers mortgage the next 2+ years to make a run at championship(s) with Bron/AD/Trae

76ers out: Higher of ‘26 & ‘28 1st’s
76ers in: Deangelo Russell, Rui Hachimura, and De’Andre Hunter
Sixers strike out on the few max contract worthy players available and use cap space and picks to absorb 3 starters between Maxey and Embiid

Thunder out: Josh Giddey
Thunder in: Gabe Vincent and Clint Capela
Thunder get 2 solid vet role players to compliment their young core by only giving up Giddey, who I’m sure they are itching to extend.

Hawks out: Trae Young, DeAndre Hunter, and Clint Capela
Hawks in: Josh Giddey, ‘24, ‘25, ‘26, ‘28, & ‘29 1st’s via LA and Philly
Hawks clear their roster and cap to start a rebuild around Murray/Johnson/#1 overall pick with 5 added 1st’s and max cap space to work with.

*Draft day trade to make Lakers picks work

You can't combine S+T with picks from the 2024 Draft.

The Lakers also don't own their 2025 1st, NOP does.

The deal is dead because of that, even ignoring how badly OKC gets hosed. They could take Capella in for Cap or a 2nd and same for Vincent, so why are they giving up Giddey?

If OKC is giving Giddey away for dookie, I happily offer PJ Tucker with the solid JAG of Coffey

Rebuilding without your own picks is certainly a...choice.

In addition to the logistics that you can't make a draft-day S&T deal (could it work if DLo opted in?) and that the Lakers would have to send their 2027 1st instead of their 2025 1st the deal really only works for the Lakers.

OKC and Philly are getting TERRIBLE value here, while Atlanta is left awkwardly rebuilding without their own picks (and they're really getting at least half the value from Hunter and Capella).

Unsurprisingly this is terrible for everyone except the Lakers
