Blazers cut Dallas out and take Brandon Clarke for themselves if Memphis is willing to do that swap.

Yup.
The trick to these 1 for 1 for 1 trades is there is always a player worth the least. Green is that player here.

Also fit. Blazers have too many guards currently and lack PFs and Cs.

Dallas would want to be cut out. I have zero issues with Green having the least trade value but he definitely has more on court utility than Clarke would for Dallas.

Don’t see us moving Clarke he is our 3rd big with great continuity with our core 3. Timelord is a great fit but due to his health we can’t take a chance on him.

I would do it for Dallas, which means it probably needs incentive which the Mavs should not part with.
I was a fan of Clark when he came out of college. He's not great by any means, but less erratic than Green

Yep not moving Clarke here, but I think we might still look at Timelord with filler/2nd or TPE/MLE. The downside is that we would still need to get a 4th big due to his health, and likely that big won't have a shot either. So between Clarke, RWill, and a required 4th big we won't have much shooting in the front court. That is why I don't think we are going to prioritize the hurt non-shooters heavily like RWill and MRob.

The lack of respect for J.Green on this board is crazy, he is a player of energy and intangibles...the statistics say that the Mavs are much better with him on the court...there is a reason why the Hornets They wanted him in the PJ trade and there's a reason the Mavs didn't send him.
