Where Would Gobert Fit?

While I expect MIN to keep him, and maybe even extend him this summer, there is an unlikely scenario where the rise of Naz Reid could get the Wolves to trade Gobert and play 5-out, allowing Towns to regain his offensive advantage. However, Gobert is one of the most unique fits in the NBA, and if he was available in trade, some teams would love him and others would hate him.
If Gobert was on the market, which teams should be most interested?
Or a Gobert-Conley package, if that pairing increases the trade value of both?

Where wouldn't he fit? Seriously, is there a single team that can't somehow work a DPOY rim protection guy into their roster?
Literally even the Sixers would jump at Gobert if as a thought-experiment any team could add him for nothing but they have to play him 30 minutes minimum per game.

I tend to agree, but PHI or maybe DEN would struggle with fit and identity. Does he help or hinder Wemby’s development? He might also be a poor fit for a team that wants to race up and down the court, or needs a center to also stretch the floor.
On the other hand, defense is half the game. He is a huge deterrent at the rim, and excellent blocker and rebounder, and fantastic at helping others play defense. He sets terrific screens, and his rim pressure on rolls stretches defenses inward.

he wouldn't fit on rebuilding teams
he wouldn't fit on 2nd apron teams (because wolves are also in 2nd apron)

Am I crazy or is the OP talking about Gobert's fit more in terms of his play on the court?

Anywhere that doesnt play 5 out. Issue is more his contract. Think many teams would take him if they could dump money, but dont think many is willing to match his vacum value

Yeah it's unclear but FWIW how would Gobert fit on a roster is a far more interesting question to me than who could trade for him given the CBA restrictions!

We have a board policy against this kind of counter. When a poster is just here trolling, ignore them. Don't compound it with this. If neither of you have contributions to make to the topic, cool. Don't post.

It's the trade board. So the ability to actually add him is extremely pertinent and almost certainly what the OP is interested in.
Obviously every team would love to have the best defensive player in the world. But not every team can realistically add him. Makes sense to focus there on this board. This same topic on the PC board could lead other places.

He's the biggest defensive floor raiser in the league, so teams with lots of offensive talent but horrible defense, Hawks and Hornets come to mind.

No we aren't in 3rd grade. It's not about who starts it. You are responsible for your own posts. His post sucked. Yours intentionally sucked on top of it. It's just derailing a thread. Do no respond to this. I don't want to issue warnings. I just want us to stay on topic and make serious contributions. It's disrespectful to the OP and other posters to just troll/bait.

Well if your goal was to bait me, you got it. Enjoy your break. I asked nicely for you to follow the most basic of rules. You instead decided to rub my nose in it.

Back on topic....
I'd start by once again stating my opposition to trading Gobert. But OP knows that and so the teams I would like to see get involved if Gobert was available:
1. Orlando--lean into the elite defense by bringing in Gobert. Will still have to go out and get a perimeter shot creator but that would not be impossible.
2. New York -- a Thibs defense with Gobert as the anchor? Uh yes please.
3. Atlanta -- A Trae led offense works on a defense made good by adding in Gobert. Makes them serious right away.
