13/Sasha/Duarte for Clarkson/29/32

Danny moves up to get a second lotto pick, and only takes back expiring salary.

If Sac thinks Monk is gone they have to fill that role and Clarkson does so. They also get two picks where some long athletic forwards will be available (Bridges/Freeman/Pacome/etc).

Clarkson should come considerably cheaper than this.

Was thinking it’s light for Sac. Not sure how to span the gap. They won’t add a 2025 first or Hendricks.

I think Duarte + Sasha + Portland 2nd + another Kings 2nd gets it done for Clarkson

If they want Davion in place of Duarte or Sasha OR Huerter instead of both then so be it.

I'd start by sending them smaller incentive than 13. I tend to agree that a couple 2nds and expiring contracts should be plenty.

Agreed.

Fine as is for me, but no real interest at lower prices (2nds). We have picks stacked to the ceiling already, consolidation is the goal.

29/32 are worth a later teens pick on their own.

I had it low 20’s. So the Kings are move back pick-value wise 7-12’ish spots. It’s not that far off.

If Sac can replace Monk with Clarkson and convert Duarte/Sasha into long forwards they are addressing serious needs. They’d have the MLE and BAE too to plug holes.

Absolutely not on the first deal. Clarkson is a scorer, but can't shoot. Not a good mix on this Kings team.

Sexton? It could work with him too.

I like Sexton a lot more, but then it's tough seeing Utah do something like that. Sexton is a much better player than Clarkson and 7 years younger.

Would need to adjust.
