Denver/Atlanta/Portland

Post#1 » by redslastlaugh » Wed Jun 19, 2024 11:00 pm

Portland Trades:
Robert Williams to Denver
Malcolm Brogdon to Atlanta

Denver Trades:
Michael Porter Jr to Portland

Atlanta Trades:
DeAndre Hunter to Denver

So Denver makes a two for one betting on a return to health for Rob Williams and that DeAndre Hunter can excel with Joker. Atlanta gets Brogdon, a former 6MOY on an expiring while getting off Hunters money. And Portland gets a big time wing shooter in Michael Porter Jr., they can feature him and look to move him to a contender for future picks to continue the rebuild.

No picks change hands.

Who says no?

POR is going to pass on MPJ.

Too much injury risk, too much contract.

I was hoping and expecting this to be one of the first replies. You did not disappoint. Jroy have it all.

I'm not sure Atlanta is at a place where they can afford to truly just salary dump Hunter without a backup plan for the wings. This gives them 3 PGs who need major minutes and a severely.lack of depth on the wings.

Absolutely not for Portland. Same reasons as JROY.
