Memphis #9 and 2025 first (top four protected)

Memphis gets their man. Pistons hope to get a similar wing at #9 as they would have at #5 while getting a future pick.

I would like a little better protection but I could see this as the actual offer.

I rather just stay at nine and take BPA and use that 2025 1st pick to trade back into the 1st for a guy like Ware. I don't have Clingan rated that much higher than the other centers in this draft.

It's very likely that 2025 1st will be a very late one. I wouldn't drop for a slim chance of that being a late lottery 1st which is what I would want in order to move back and give up a superior prospect by doing that

Geez,if Mem wants him that bad then Blazers should trade Mem #7,take the 9 and 2025 1st and draft Edey, who IMO is gonna be the better C

I really hope DET trades out of 5 as it makes Matas sliding to 7 much more likely.

I think that's best for Portland if Memphis trades up to 5.

Best draft for Portland might be Matas at 7 and Edey at 14

Not super thrilled from Detroit, but certainly a possibility give what our new management has hinted at.

Absolutely do that trade. The protection could be a little than top four as well….

This year’s wild…MEM might need to buy up to #3 to be sure they don’t get jumped for Clingan.
