I don't understand the possible value they could've sent at all.

2031 is unprotected. Smart move by the Spurs.

Love this for the Wolves. If Ant is as good as we think he is going to be, this pick won't have the upside of Dillingham
Also love that Dillingham can be brough in slowly behind Conley

kind of surprising. I didn't think teams value far distant 1sts that much.

This lottery is weak as hell.

Didn't even include the #27?
San Antonio must absolutely hate this draft.

I thought that Dillingham might slip all the way down to Minnesota's own pick so I was clearly wrong lol

This is one of the oddest trades we've seen on RealGM

Edwards signed a five year extension with no players option, so it seems like he wants to stay, but that ends in 2029, and a lot can happen by 2030, and 2031. MIN might not be so great.
I like the player, but I would have hoped that instead of that swap, they gave up the 27 + 37. That could be a lot of value.
I got to trust Connelly.

That's insane. A pick 7 years from now and a swap for a #8 pick??

Love it for minny. Might gotten the best player in the draft. Lakers front office must was sleep at the wheel.

Seems like poor value for SA, but I guess they didn't like anyone here? They have more picks over the next few years than they do rotation spots so I guess I get wanting to move for a later year pick that preserves trade value more than a young player you don't love. I get it's a "weak draft" and all. Still, #8 feels high to make this type of trade with IMO.

I thought Castle-Dillingham was a potentially great pairing.
