Who wants Huerter/Davion?

Considering the Kings drafted another guard, we have way too much going on there.

Fox, Carter, Monk, Keon, Huerter, Mitchell, Duarte, Colby. Somethings gotta give.

Assuming we roll with fox, carter, Monk, Keon.

Can we get any forwards using Mitchell, Huerter, Duarte, Colby, Portland 2nd, future 2nds? Not expecting the world here lol, just need some of these guys gone.

I don't really see anything obvious with that combination of assets. Maybe if they changed the protections of their pick to Atlanta they could get Hunter if the Hawks tear it down.

What about my man John Collins? Can any combo there get him?

Oh, absolutely  in my head I was just thinking of small forwards. I think you could keep Colby Jones and just do the flotsom for Collins. We can flip Huerter if someone wants him or just let him eat some minutes as a "whatever" type guy.

I'm thinking Huerter, Duarte, Davion for Collins makes sense? Or am I crazy. Davion routed to a 3rd team who could use him if Utah doesn't want him.

Fox/Monk
Keon/Carter
Keegan/Barnes
Collins/Lyles
Sabonis

George/sexton
Clarkson/Huerter
Williams/Brice
Lauri/Hendricks
Kessler

Yah, that's fine. If we can just reduce future cost and open minutes for the young players it is worth it.

Same but swap 32 for 45/future 2nd (not Portland).

Hope for Freeman lives on.

Feels like the thread to me lol. I can't imagine a better option at the right salary.

If we can keep our second I'd like to (I think Tyler Smith is a lottery talent and Furphy was a nice prospect for the 20s, so hoping for one of them), but I'd probably do that.

Monte could be setting up to cash in on Ellis. Ellis is so cheap that he can be combined with others easily to meet any non-superstar salary. He moved off of Hali, he’d flip Ellis.

Ellis and Carter are about an inch+ in height (Ellis) and have the same wingspans. Ellis has a four inch better standing reach but Carter is 25+ pounds heavier. They could both stay and fit next to Fox but Ellis the best non draft asset that might bring the type of length and athleticism the Kings need.

I’ve never thought through Ellis’ market but GMs can see the defensive team and individual stats from when he began starting.

i wouldnt mind Davion at Charlotte, we need a defensive guard.

I wouldn't mind having Huerter back depending on the cost. I always thought he was a really good fit on the team although he would be coming off the bench now for sure. We have Hunter available who when healthy is a pretty good defensive forward and a solid option.

What could Charlotte give back here?

I'm willing to recreate the 2020 hawks lol.

Huerter/Sasha for Deandre Hunter
Barnes/Mitchell/Duarte for John Collins

I'd do it, whatever.

Sorry i was referring to being the 3rd team for that Utah Collins trade. I should have quoted that.

But we have Cody Martin who is our best defensive wing but had injury problems last year.
Otherwise it's crappy end of bench stuff like Nick Smith jr.

Combined with Barnes/Venz and future picks, swaps for Brandon Ingram!

Bucks could use a defensive guard.

Connaughton for Davion gets Milwaukee under the 2nd apron and the Sacto a backup SF but they likely would have to send Colby Jones to a 3rd team for a future 2nd to make the salaries work.

Heurter/Mitchell for Beefstew? On the fence on whether I even like that for the Pistons, lol.

Sac would throw a couple seconds.

What about this as the framework for a 3 team trade?

Sac: Portis (Starting stetch 4)
ORL: Huerter (Shooting)
MIL: WCJ (Athletic stretch big)

Some 2nds might have to be added to even out the value but I think all three teams add a player who fills a need.
