Cleveland/Toronto

Cleveland: Lavert, Niang, and Allen

Toronto: Poetl, Dick, and Brown

Cavs get a bit more help on the wing but downgrade in the interior.Toronto upgrades interior while adding an additional ball handler they currently lack. If there’s picks needed to be made to makeup the difference let me know your thoughts.

Cavs say no. Allen is a really good player. There just isn’t enough coming back.

Nah not giving up Dick to upgrade from Poeltl to Allen. Whats the point we still might not make the play in

I'm not entirely sure who the Cavs are getting at SF who's a better option than LeVert? I mean Dick would have zero shot at staying on the floor the playoffs. We don't save money going from Allen to Poeltl. Allen is a LOT better than Poeltl. Neither of them are stretch bigs.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

they should move Allen for a wing. Mobley should be the 5, not someone else they trade for.

I would think hard about that. I am not overly high on Dick though. Allen's age and athletic ability fit better with the core guys. I would pull the trigger on that.

What am I missing here? This is an awful deal for Cleveland.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Nah that make 0 sense Allen is an allstar center and the heart of the Cavs defense. If they do move him it will have to be for a good starting 3 not this junk.

Mitchell has also reportedly said he wants Allen in Cleveland and he has history with the coach I would be shocked if Allen goes anywhere

I think Dick needs to grow and show more to be included in a deal like this.
