Not much difference between Naji and DJJ's contract, except locale.

One side wasnt as hot for the other side as they were letting on. Im no sure it was Jones tho. I think the Mavs understand they need more shooting from their wing position.

Feel Like DJJ is exactly the type of guy Kings could use in their uptempo offense. Makes no sense they didnt pursue him (or Naji).

Realistically, I'm sure guys preferred signing with a finals team or living in Los Angeles. Hopefully there is someone else on the board for Sacramento, but I wouldn't chalk it up to lack of effort. For the same money most guys are going to choose contenders or 'traditionally appealing' places.

Sac has more money to spend than either contract though.

Monte falls asleep sometimes and doesn’t do anything. This can’t be one of this times. He now has to land something better than NM/DJJ for the MLE. And get a PF. That or a star like BI. He has work to do or he will be on the hot seat next summer. Kings can’t miss the playoffs, Vivek gets antsy real quick.

Think noone knew they could talk to him since he were between agents. Must have allowed his old agent to discuss it. If it comes out klutch were involved, well.... clippers could get even more poor on picks the coming years

Clips are $15M or so from the hard cap now, but can acquire via S&T now I believe.

Unless Golden State is fine with PJ and, say, Russ for Klay, I can't see that happening.

I thought the latest rumour was that they were after Ingram?

That would certainly explain them staying out of the Marshal/Jones sweepstakes (if you can call it that)
