Player option on the 5th year. That means that 28-29 season will effectively be both his and Jaylen Brown’s walk years. And also the year that new ownership is reportedly going to take over, as Wyc will reportedly stay on until then. Interesting.

At that point the cap will probably be around $190-200 million, so 35 percent of the cap could be 70 million per year for Brown and Tatum each, at that point, with 8 percent raises every year. We will be awfully close to contracts nearing the half-billion mark.

Well, at least he's getting paid more than JB so hopefully no disunity about that the way Webber and Wall both got upset about teammates deals.
