Lal In: Derozan, Cam Johnson
Lal Out: Dlo, Rui, JHS, Jaxson Hayes, 2029 1st
Chi In: Rui, Hayes
Chi Out: Derozan, 1-2 future 2nds?/Terry?
Bkn In: Dlo, JHS, Top 3 protected 2029 1st Lakers, 1-2 chicago 2nds/Terry
Bkn Out: Cam Johnson
Lakers get a super 6th man in Demar and a good shooter in Cam Johnson
Bulls get a young pf in Rui on a fair deal and transition into starting over
Nets get Dlo, a 1st, last years 17th pick, and some 2nds/Terry for Cam Johnson and start over
Demar can get paid between 15-20m for 3 years with a PO on year 3?
Still need to get a C. Maybe try and get Sharpe and add some more 2nds?
OR
Lal In: Derozan, DFS
Lal Out: Dlo, 2 2nds, Rui, Jaxson Hayes
Chi In: Rui
Chi Out: Derozan, 1-2 future 2nds?/Terry?
Bkn In: Dlo, 2 laker 2nds, 1-2 chicago 2nds/Terry
Bkn Out: DFS
Lakers get Demar still and a solid 3 and d wing in DFS, but he is aging a bit and not the shooter Cam Johnson is
Bkn gets either 3-4 2nds or 2 2nds and Terry, plus an expiring Dlo so they can save on the DFS deal and try and move Dlo or just let him expire
Lakers still have 2 1sts, swaps, and JHS if they want to go and get a C like Walker Kessler?

I don't see Chicago adding assets to SNT DDR for Rui.

LA getting the best players by giving up crap.
No thanks.

#1 the Bulls do with Dalen Terry, HECK NO with any picks, even the next 2nds they have in 2056 or so.
Rui does start at the 4, maybe Phillips and Craig behind him. Hayes fits really well with Jalen Smith as backups to Vucevic, who is still here with no takers.
#2 You've got Hayes going out but not coming in anywhere. If he's still driving to CHI with Rui and passing Terry with no picks in his suitcase on I-80 somewhere in Colorado, it's still fine.

Are 2 2nds or Terry really "assets"
Lakers can step in here if needed and add
But Chicago is getting a decent young player in Rui
The other option is Demar may just sign for the mle or elsewhere

I forgot to put Hayes to you guys
If you guys are hard on not moving Terry or the 2nds, we should be able to do that and add the 2nds

If 2nds aren't assets than have them going to Chicago. Shouldn't be a problem.

In this scenario, the lakers effectively swap DDR and Cam Johnson for a 2029 1st. Dlo is a negative, Rui and Hayes are neutral at very best. Lakers leach far too much value here
Lal In: Derozan, Cam Johnson
Lal Out: Dlo, Rui, JHS, Jaxson Hayes, 2029 1st

Why would that happen?
We would send them to BKN
Getting Rui is a positive here
We gave up 3 2nds for him and he has shown he can provide actual value since getting here

Dlo is a neutral imo. He is an expiring 19m contract and he just had a pretty good reg season that even helped us make the playoffs. Not a good playoff player though (but Demar hasn't been one either....)
Rui is a slight positive. Him and Cam Johnson grade out similarly on EPM....Rui is younger and cheaper....
Hayes is just salary filler

If you're just looking to get off cap, the bank of Detroit is open and more than willing to take either DLO *or* Rui off your hands (dealer's choice) in exchange for that 2029 Lakers FRP. We'll even throw in a random Dalls second rounder.

I will be totally honest here, didnt notice those 3 letters at all, apologies. Just did a quick google, recognise the name but thats about it. If he was any good or very talented, the lakers wouldnt be including him

We dont have use for him and we aren't a rebuilding time
He was last years 17th pick, but too raw and we already have Dlo, Reaves, Vincent, Christie, and Knecht in the backcourt
Well lets see what happens, but I don't see the Bulls getting anything better for Demar than this
