This one feels obvious to me. Kings and pelicans have been talking ingram, pelicans want a center that we don't have. Hawks are in a re-tool phase.

Kings out: Huerter, Barnes, removal of 25 protections, 26 swap, 27 1st
Kings in: Ingram

Hawks out: Capela
Hawks in: Huerter, removing protections on 1st

Pelicans out: Ingram
Pelicans in: Capela, Barnes, 26 swap, 27 1st

Why for kings? Get their splash in ingram.

Why for hawks? Balance the roster better, and get higher upside if things fall apart in Sac. Reunite with an old fan fav.
Trae - Huerter - Risacher - Johnson - OO
Dyson - Kobe- Bogdan - Hunter - Nance

Why for pelicans? Move off ingram, get some picks and good fitting pieces to complete the team.
Dejounte - CJ - Herb - Zion - Capela
Jose - Hawkins - Murphy - Barnes - Missi

Says The Athletic reported Atlanta isn’t getting good value for capela so hopefully Huerter and a pick can get it done or Huerter and unprotecting the 2025 pick

The overall idea is good, but seems too good for the Hawks. Increasing chances at a top-12 pick in the loaded '25 draft for Capela? Seems like Hawks would just look to get off his salary for a different player at this point, although that would leave Hawks thin at C.

Kings are doing it to get a center to NO for Ingram

Don't love it, don't hate it, probably an okay deal. Watching Ingram cook so many games makes me always feel like the return should be higher but the picks make up for it I suppose

Would make sense for the Kings to free up that pick guaranteed to be used next year. So they can trade future picks for a player like Ingram or another star if thats who they are going after. Huerter has always fit well with Trae and is well liked in Atlanta although im a little worried about his injury he is coming off of.

If we did this trade and then went after Ayton maybe to replace Capela i could see it being 2 ok moves for us.
