NOP out: McCollum + 2026 1st(the best between NOP and MIL)
NOP in: Ayton

LAL out: Dlo + Rui
LAL in: McCollum

POR out: Ayton
POR in: Rui + Nola 1st

ORL out: Cap space
ORL in: Dlo(maybe will need a second or two here)

- NOP uses McCollum and a first to get their Center.
- LAL upgrade the lead guard position, geting a more reliable scorer to help Lebron and AD.
- POR saves a lot of money, get a young forward and a 1st pick.
- ORL uses their cap to get a third guard that is, on papper, a good compliment to Suggs and KCP.

Getting rid of Ayton is going to cost you something.
CJ is probably slightly negative value, but still.more valuable then Ayton. Pels are not adding picks in this scenario.

I don’t see how CJ is more valuable than Ayton. They’re both overpaid, but CJ is going to be 33 before next season starts.

I think Ayton is more valuable than CJ, even if you dont count NOP current roster construction.

I understand the feeling, but last year CJ still was the better player, and his status on the league could help Lebron to sign with some discount(so you can have the MLE to fill the roster).

Got fooled by fanspo trade machine, sad, gotta send Cole Anthony to Portland, what would kill the trade as Portland would ask a lot more compensation.

I'd still do it with Anthony.

I think I like this deal. I mean i dislike LeBron getting a legit threat like CJ on his team, but I like the other pieces.
