The perfect landing spot for him.

If he hasn’t lost his shooting, we can definitely use him.

I know Jingles is mostly done, but I love this.

Won’t be needed to do much and will still be very good in small minutes.

The problem with Jingles is not that he cannot shoot.

The problem is that he is fat and slow. He does not take conditioning seriously.

His smile is contagious, however.

When smart vet Mike Conley first joined Utah, he said it took him a year to figure out how to feed the long Rudy Gobert.

Jingles comes in with experience doing just that.

At the vet min, there really isn’t any downside here. Good situation to finish his career.

Hey! That’s why MIN drafted Wes Johnson at #4 in front of Boogie! Good smile = good fit!

Magic made the right choice declining his PO, but i did want him back on the Magic for the vet min. Everyone likes Joe, and he would often grab one of the younger guys and let them know what they're doing wrong and guiding them. He's still a very good passer and can shoot the 3 when left open.

The Magic have too many players now though so i get why they didnt re-sign him. Im happy for him getting to play with Mike Conley and a better chance at winning a ring next year before he retires. I think this will probably be his last season

Great for the kids and still a solid decision-maker and shooter on the court. Supposedly lost some weight. If he's fit - he can really contribute...Last year, he deteriorated over the season, but was a fantastic player-coach all season - constantly keeping it light and pulling guys aside and gently getting in their ear. I really hoped he'd be back, but he probably didn't have a role in ORL.

He is probably the ultimate “NBA player who looks and plays like a city-leaguer”, but I’ll take Joe Ingles at the minimum over Kyle Anderson at $9 million for the Timberwolves all day long!

This fit just made way too much sense.

Not only the prior history with Gobert, Conley and Alexander-Walker on the court and Dell Demps in the front office from the Utah days, but the need to replace a veteran like Kyle Anderson on the court and in the locker room, plus the need for more ballhandling as well as an uptick in corner 3-pointers. Minnesota can absorb the lack of athleticism on defense.

I’m not sure he/NAW were ever on the team together, I think they were traded for one another after Ingles injury.

Good catch. I just quickly looked on BBRef and saw Utah was the only team he played with, so I assumed he was there all year.

Wolves still lost on the court here but Ingles will be great in the locker room. They have Conley but can use some other steady vets to help Ant develop properly and into a professional.

Ingles is in his Udonis phase, but still a good use of a roster spot on a team that won’t need him to play much.

He's obviously not what he was as 6MOY runner-up 4 years ago, but his last three seasons have been rather similar on a per-minute basis and his shooting efficiency is as good as ever.
