Trade 1:

Kings deal: Kevin Huerter and their maximum allotment if first and swaps To the Jazz for Lauri Markannen

Trade 2:
Trey Lyles, Mcdaneils and Duarte and a 2nd round pick for DeMar DeRozan in a sign and Trade 4 year deal(80 million.) Descending starting at ~ 22 million guaranteed 3 years last year is a team option with a partial grantee of 3 million.

That's the Bulls providing DeRozan and the Kings a lot of help getting together when they aren't getting better from it. It's not worth it for a 2nd.

Lyles and McDaneils aren't starters, solid backups for the solid starter the Bulls don't have. Quantity doesn't equal quality, Duarte is an adequate reserve

adding them to Torrey Craig and Julian Phillips gives them 4 guys with none of them standing out. Lyles, McDaniels and Craig as well as Duarte are expiring Phillips remains under contract and probably stays ahead of their #11 pick Buzelis for the time being. You really don't want the three expiring veterans relegating Phillips to the bench, he doesn't grow on the bench.
